People tend to check in during these times:
Welcome to the Official MLB Foursquare Page!
Get a Randy Jones BBQ sliced brisket sandwich (w/ extra sauce) in center field. Go to the Hall Of Fame Bar in left (if it's a blowout) & the Ballpark Brews stand on the first base side for good beer.
Love their healthy selections. Paradise Bowls serves fresh fruits granola with acai juice. Seafood selection of clam chowder and shrimp avocado salad? FRESH! Other ballparks need to take note!
The views were good, they had awesome people there and great fans who loved my service animal. The down fall was they were exactly accommodating to people with ADA and their service animals.
Beautiful park with a great location. Omni hotel is a 30 step walk. Gas Lamp a block away and convention center with plenty of parking 2 blocks. Enjoy the game and downtown.
Depending on time of day, easily fast park, buy tickets right on Park, Tony Gwynn Dr. Lots of temp parking to buy tixx. Avoid surcharges if it makes sense & cents for you Padres faithful. LA fans pay!
This ballpark is amazing! Such incredible site lines... Great views of the city... They have so many food and drink choices it's unbelievable! Even my girlfriend loved it! 2nd only to PNC park IMO
This is my favorite ball park thus far. Great architecture blending old and new, and has such an intimate feeling nestled between downtown buildings. City view at night from upper deck is stunning.
Incorporating the Western Metal Building in the ballpark is awesome. A really good beer selection, in a wonderful part of town. Day or Night game, the weather is going to be comfortable.
Section 305, Row 3 gets you really close to the action at a relatively small price. Head around to section 319 or so to get food; it won't be nearly as crowded and you can grab a fish taco.
Among my top five ballparks in the country along with AT&T Park, PNC Park, the new Yankee Stadium and Orioles Park at Camden Yards, the original.
The ticket kiosk was really fast. You can drink drafts or out of one pint cans. They have a "Hebrew" kosher dog which was a first. Employees kept reminding that they accept tips kind of annoying
Good food! Terrible service at Toyota Terrance. Parking is awful. No stadium Parkin off site parking only. Local PD and Padre employees are rated at a 4 out of 10 for their overall customer service.
Lots of local craft brew options throughout the ballpark, but there are stands specifically dedicated to the local breweries near home plate. Don't miss them!
I love traveling to away games with my Giants & had to knock Petco Park off the list. It is a beautiful stadium in a beautiful city, walking distance from a great night life & the beauty of the ocean.
In the city. Very cool stadium almost spills out onto the main road. A bit like Lords Cricket Ground in London in that you dont really feel like you are in a stadium.
Away games are aired on the big screen there, so it's a good way to watch the game and relax. You can bring your dog (ANY dog) on a leash with you, too!
Go to the hall of fame bar on the top floor of metal (brick building on left field) and watch the game from there if you got tickets in the nose bleeds... Can choose between 1-3 inning or 4-end of gam
Go Padres! When the Padres play at Petco, stop by Myxologie Juice Bar (up the street at 445 10th Avenue) and get a Frozen Yogurt or Gelato Cone for $1.00!
Get there early if it's your first game and wander around and take it in. Beautifully done and so much fun. And the views are awesome.
More of a recommendation: Mustard is the only condiment that should be smeared on a hot dog or brat. No self-respecting person should ruin a dog with ketchup.
Just a short walk from our hotel, Petco Park is one of the best baseball stadiums in major league baseball! Enjoy a lively Padres game in the heart of the city of San Diego.
The first baseball game ever played at Petco Park, on March 11, 2004, was the first game of a four-team NCAA invitational tournament hosted by San Diego State University.
Be very careful where you park on game days. They tow from just about every street in the area. Best to park in a garage when there's a game
I was here in May for the Angels-Padres series and I had a great time. Great food selection, friendly fans, and great fan experience.
One of best ballparks in America, despite Padres being mediocre. Spacious, beautiful and family-centric. Won't find better food or drink in MLB.
I had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at this very stadium. As soon as I left the mound I was offered a 7-year contract. Unfortunately, I was not able fulfill due to a prior engagement.
Buy your ticket off Stubhub for a much cheaper price! Also don't forget to get some garlic french fries because they are the bomb!
Western Metal Supply Co. is legit- grab a quick bite and beer there before or during game- they have tons of TVs as well.
The pizza below section 305 was the best ballpark pizza I've ever had. It probably helped that I also had about four bud lights!
If you are really hungry, pay for "all you can eat" ticket, cost only 27 usd and its a Nice area just behind left field ;)
For fans on a budget, pack in 1/2 liter sealed bottled water per person. Pre-slice fruits & veggies. Bring in any food u want, really!
Check out the various promo games for both day and night games. One fave are the Retro nights. Next up in 2012, 80s then 90s.
Great ballpark right in the middle of the city. Grab a drink at one of the bars on 6th and 7th ave before heading to the game.
Bring a blanket to the game and sample the view from "The Park at the Park." There's enough space back there to fit 2,500 lawn seats!
They won't spend money on the team, but they can raise their ticket prices ??? Oh well, buy your tickets early and save some money.
If you purchase an eTicket, the park can't scan them. You are forced to wait in line at the box office 4 a printed one. #PITA
Preferred Partner! Second Day FREE on the Old Town Trolley City Tour with first day purchase. Must show 2010 Holiday Bowl or Poinsettia Bowl game ticket - a $34.00 value! (619) 298-8687
Great atmosphere in the heart of the Gaslamp district. Can't miss if the Padres are in town!
They have really good customer service at the box office. Got my tickets in the shade and parking pass all in one convenient location.
Sonoran hot dog (bacon wrapped) is at the Hall of Fame Grill in Western Metal Building. Pay cashier first before getting dog.
Awesome location - between Home and 1B - overlooking pitching mound. No blindspots. Scoreboard straight ahead. In-seat service.
I'm from KC and a huge royals fan but WOW. Incredible food selection in the park and such a great location.
The scenery is amazing. Love how they built it around some surrounding buildings.
