People tend to check in during these times:
Staff is helpful, store is vast. Stop by the KittyKind section and see if the cat of your dreams is there for adoption! #adoptdontshop
Didn't realise they had adoption small animals! Got my rescue hamster here. Not super cheap but convenient location.
Long lines on the weekend, you're better off coming in off peak
Poor man's perspective: Enjoy the New York Aquarium and the Bronx Zoo's Mouse House on the lower level. 🐁🐇🐢🐦🐈🐍🐠
So many animals on weekends!
Large selection. They always have cute kittens up for adoption.
So many cat foods, what does it all mean
Adopt a pet here!
This Union Square behemoth has every item for every type of pet. The lines can get long and the size of the store is a bit overwhelming, but your dog will love the selection of toys and treats!
Employees here are always so nice and knowledgeable. Cats are always up for adoption and dogs on certain days. This is definitely my preferred store for getting my kitty supplies/food.
Don't buy hermit crabs here; painted shells are toxic to ALL crabs in an enclosure, not just the crab stuck wearing it.
Go elsewhere unless you want to get ripped off. Only the desperate should enter.
Love this pet store but definitely go early
Have to shop for my cat and fish
The largest selection of dog toys I've been able to find in the city! <3
Come visit the loveable, adoptable KittyKind cats :)
They sell Chef Michael's canned food!!! It seems like the only place in Manhattan that does!
All the animals here are badly cared for. Dead fish, lame gerbils, bald budgerigars. Really shocking.
A great place to take the pooch for a treat after a day at the Union Square Green Market! Lines are long but move rather quickly. Use you Pet Pal Card for great coupons!
Save homeless dogs donate
Cat adoption days are the best.
They do NOT have competitive prices at this Petco. Better off shopping online. They do NOT honor the price match guarantee.
Get a parrotlet! They're awesome apartment birds with tons of personality. They're quiet too!
The staff, though friendly, don't seem well-versed in animal knowledge or product recommendations. Eh.
Petco - where it stinks.
Staff is not very knowledgeable but love the great selection of hamsters.
PETCO carries a complete line of PEDIGREE® Food for Dogs, so you’re bound to find your dog’s favorite recipe. Remember, every time you buy PEDIGREE® Food for Dogs, we make a donation to shelters.

Luv my pet
Always bring your petco pals card , it helps !
Decent Petco location, and it can get quite bustle.
They have some cool apparels for the pooches!
Spend some time with the darling birds downstairs!
I almost bought that big brown hampster. He needs a good home. Hes very cool.
Check out the cute bunnies up for adoption downstairs!
This place never has small crickets even though they claim to get shipments every tuesday and Friday. Always call before you come if you need small crickets :(
It's always 100 degrees in here
Grooming is getting better...
Bad experience in grooming. My dog has been getting her nails clipped here for over a year. Today they tell me I need to leave the dog with them and pay before I can get her. First I heard of this.
A handful of cookies from the bulk bins will only set you back $0.10
Petco PALS card and coupons from newspaper circulars combined will save you $$$!
No cats or dogs. Only fish and rats. Lame.
I can"t believe they closed my Petco!
Sign up for Petco Pals card before any purchases. There are always deals for Petco members.
Go see the cats for adoption, so cute. Plus good deals for cats food if u r a Petco member.
Worst dog grooming ever!! Not only was the grooming bad but they also had the grooming restraining leash so tight it caused a blood vessel to burst in my dog's eye!
fish feeder: gold fish/minnnows.
Saddest Petco I've ever been in.
Come here to adopt a beautiful homeless cat from the KittyKind volunteers. The cats want a happy home, and they are adorable.
