Not sure why the hostess always seems so rude. Food was ok. Not the best steak I've ever had but servers were funny. German coffee is super strong...not for the faint of heart

Pretentious and overrated. It isn't difficult to find a well cooked porterhouse without the wait.

I really don't understand why this place still has a Michelin star. I actually really want Michelin to explain that to me. Steak is basic, everything is dry, and the service is horrendous.

Espetacular! Uma das melhores carnes que comi na vida, indescritível! O prato pra dois serve 3, imperdível!!! Não deixe de pedir o bacon canadense de entrada.

Steak for two is a must as is the shrimp cocktail. And the bread basket...OMG!! The steak literally melts in your mouth and no sauce needed. Key Lime pie=heaven!!

Some say Luger is the greatest steakhouse in the world. Even if we can’t go quite that far, the steaks are damn good, especially the signature dry-aged prime porterhouse.

Ahh get the bacon and the apple strudel dessert.

Worth the trip into Brooklyn to get to this Mecca of steak. Porterhouse, creamed spinach, and a potato, and you'll be happy. Cash only, or get the house credit card (it's free) to look smooth.

Peter Luger's burger is no frills & all flavor. It offers a thinly charred exterior to a precious pink treasure of its juicy, dry-aged core.Topped with onion, American cheese, & a thick slab of bacon.

You will be admonished if you order your steak anything other than rare, so it's best to just let the kitchen take control. For sides, creamed spinach, onion rings, & German fried potatoes are a must.

If you like a fatty/juicy piece of meat, go for the ribeye medium rare, sooo good!!!

  • POGEA R.

Honestly disappointed. I ate much cheaper steaks and they were amazing. Look at the "tomato" salad for 15 bucks. It is just sliced tomato.
