Steak, bacon, beer
They take debit cards
Meat is excellent
everything and they are super RUDE
Steak and bacon!!!
Come for the burger during lunch. Otherwise, go nuts on their house dry-aged steak for two or however many people you have. I like mine rare/medium rare, it's that rich in umami. Make reservations!
Bring your appetite! Order the steak medium rare; it continues to cook after its served and gets better and better!
Burry me here. The steak, applestrudel and the whipped cream (schlag) is un be liev able
Order: Steak for however many people in your party, bacon for every 2 people, tomatoes, any dessert with schlag. Be happy.
Steak for two (or more) spinach, home fries, bacon slices and importantly tomato and onion slices with sauce.
Burger for lunch
Don't believe the hype about the burger. Laughable.
Go for brunch and wait outside a bit before opening time.
The hamburger on the lunch money is what I go back for all the time. And of course the ice cream sundae. Sharing with the kids proves problematic. I have to order my own.
Eater;s Best Burger, Brooklyn/Queens #1
Bacon to start steak to finish
Best burger in New York. Go for lunch.
This place is synonymous with medium rare porterhouse cuts, so get that. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it!)
I've been to many steak houses and no one beats Lugers. Not only is the steak good but the salad, bacon and bread are just as good. Everything is delicious.
Is it overrated? Yes. Will the decor not be what you expected? Probably. But is the steak swimming in butter amazing? Almost always.
The definition of a Steakhouse & a must try for any steak lover when visiting NYC.
Try the lunch time-only burger and you won't be disappointed. The onion rings were pretty awesome as well, as is the special Peter Luger steak sauce.
Just get whatever the waiter suggests. They probably know more than you.
Note to self: try the bacon next time we found ourselves there
Steak dinners are the best in the city. But the lunchtime burger is the sleeper hit here
Besides making the best steaks I ever had, they also accept personal checks! #gangsta
Go for lunch and get the cheeseburger. That's all you need.
Awarded one star (★) in the 2015 Michelin Guide for NYC restaurants.
The Porter House for two is very filling, however this time around I was a bit disappointed. The steak was ok and the baked potato was overlooked. Was disappointed to be honest.
The most tasty food I have ever eatten! Expensive one but wotrh it! Steak, cheapest bottle of wine plus tomatoes with onion 200 dollars plus 40 tip!
The whole meal was amazing. Is it the best steak and sides I've ever had? No, but it was certain worth the price in the experience and pretty tasty food.
Fantastic steak house and great service.
Have had the burger&bacon, but not the steak. I'll vouch for the burger: it's a sizable, juicy beast, with pretty good flavor. Loved the thick cut bacon.
Good bang for your buck esp if you're with a group.
I grew up not to far from this place. The food Is great.

I mean, steak for [number of diners]. Make sure to get the bacon, and save room for dessert--they are great and huge.
I couldn't possibly be more disappointed. Our aged steak medium rare was bland. I sat there trying to season it with salt & pepper. The porterhouse I get at Outback Steakhouse has 10 times more flavor
Well it certainly is expensive.
