If you're in terminal C and are looking for vegetarian/vegan options, consider Au Bon Pain, Sky Asian bistro, and Burrito Elito
If your incoming flight is delayed, you may get an extra workout in when trying to get to your connecting flight on time.
This is one of the worst airports in the U.S. (And I've been to most of them.) Dirty, poorly laid out, little to no decent food options (McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts anyone?) and ignorant staff.
If you want to visit philly and don't have a place to leave your luggage don't pick your bags from the carousel, the airline luggage office will have them when you return from town.
Take the train into town. Traffic is so unpredictable. No machines on the platform. You need cash to buy a ticket on the train.
Updated Delta terminal a couple years ago. Has a Chickie n Pete's and King of Pizza.
Free WiFi, many stores/restaurants and near to the public transportation.
If you do not have to fly in or out of this airport. Don't!
Avoid this airport at all costs. It's the Hotel California of airports for connecting flights. You can connect but you can't ever leave. King of delays, cancellations, and terrible customer service
Why is such a small airport so spread out.
Nice airport, free wifi, at the end of the terminals there are seating areas that are quiet
When you arrive with a septa train check downstairs first. :D
Having to wait for check in to open. I feel like I traveled back in time 40 years, sitting in this ancient hell hole. Its much better once in the gate areas. But this is shameful.
PHL is such an awful airport. Best tip: get TSA Pre and avoid human contact.
Lots of Bank of America ATMs
Great shopping mall and food is good too
Love chickie and Petes
There's a good cellphone lot there. You don't need to park on the shoulder of the road.
Layover in PHL? Instead of sitting find a Fitness zone and do some spinning on a stationary bike. Its good for you.
Good selection of food. Place is very dated. Every electrical outlet in the place needs to be replaced. Crazy overheating and cooling issues
There is a ChickFilA here! Take the time to find it!
Seems I often spend more time here than planned..... It's not a bad place. I'd just rather get home!!!
Terminal D has Green Leafs for a custom salad and it's awesome! Plus DD is right next door.
Try the clam chowder at Legal Sea Foods
A wonderful one-stop shop for every appetite. Wander down the aisles, famous for Philly cheesesteaks, Amish food, lobster rolls, sushi, barbecue, & every cuisine you could imagine.
Love this place . . . Always get a little sad when I'm departing Though I guess because I know I won't be back for a while
Terminal e for cantina grilll
Tony Luke's cheese steak. Get one.
Look it's the emerald city Dorothy! O wait, are they flying monkeys and who is that flying in on her broom?
From tall tales to wide bodies, PHL is the airport that always has you leaving with a story to share just like the tall tales and wide bodies of aircraft, crew, and passengers alike
The walk from one gate to another was TOO long!! OMG!
They have these little private rooms where you can sleep, watch TV or work. Which is nice cause there is a good chance you will be delayed. Slow ground crew & in bad weather they route NYC over it.
Pack light or they will make you
Use the security line at terminal B if you are flying out of terminal C. Even if it looks long it moves fast because they have more screeners.
Bring a freakin wind suit / snow suit ahhhh cold as HELLLLL
Just starting to get better with age...it's actually a pretty cool airport for shopping.
Coherent design and pretty decent amenities. Still, give yourself plenty of time, some of the walks from gate to gate are really long.
Convenient train service into the city every 30 minutes!
DO NOT use economy parking here if you want to get from or to your car in a reasonable amount of time. The 10 minute round is just a "guideline." Add extra time to your plans.
Before take off try Philly cheese stake.
Decent food/drink options while waiting on a connecting flight. Allow plenty of walking time between A, B, C and D gates, it's a longer walk than you may think.
Starbucks is only at terminal C!
Huge! Such a nice airport. Free wifi and lots of shopping if you want to
Not one of my favorite airports.....but not the worst.
This airport has great support for the disabled. :) You can get on a transport car for the disabled only at one terminal, ride it to the train, then pick up another car at the next terminal.
My least favorite airport in the country. Not very welcoming and the curbside check-in folks will haggle you for tips.
Worst airport in the U.S. The staff is rude and wouldn't even let me wait for my parents in line at security. Definitely not the airport of "brotherly love".
