Run up the stairs and pretend that you're Rocky!
Spend my whole day there still not enough. Very nice museum and the Duchamp inhibition makes everything different.
Beautiful museum, rocky stairs and scenic view over the city!
A lovely building with a great section of modern art.
Rocky isn't real. Celebrate real Philly heroes here and everywhere else in the city.
Marcel Duchamp is a must see
Museum. Nice decor!
There is almost too much to see in this vast collection, but the Arms and Armor section should not be missed.
One word: STELLAR. Or how about BREATHTAKING...I came during an impressionist exhibit that was well worth the extra $5. You get access to 3 locations and are allowed 2 days to enjoy every single bit!
Great modern collection
If you've yet to try Art After 5, you really should try it. Fun unique date idea!
Fantastic collection, very diverse, great modern art, and lots of galleries and special events for kids.
Beautiful grounds. Beautiful building. Lots of history. A must see while in Philly.
Very interesting rooms where they've imported entire floors, doorways, walls to add to the art experience.
Could spend forever here! Loved this place!!!
FABULOUS art museum! It took me 8 years to get inside, and when I did I never wanted to leave.
Nice to walk around the grounds. They have regular events, too.
Fantastic museum - you could easily spend a full day or so here. The modern European collection of impressionists was breathtaking...
Feel yourself as Rocky Balboa😜😜
This is one of the largest art museums in the United States, with more than 227,000 pieces but a big attraction for its annual visitors is the 25 or more special exhibitions it puts on each year.
You need to take a picture with Rocky. A must. Gorgeous impressionist pieces.
They offer sketch books you can borrow for free
Apparently it is illegal to pee in the bushes outside.
A must-see museum for anyone who has any interest in art. Wonderful collections of Asian, European and American Art. Great collection of paintings and a lot of American furniture and medieval armor.
Pay what you wish on first Sunday's and every Wednesday after 5. Coat check is free and they honor student IDs.
It's a classic. Formidable collection of European paintings.
Best times are Wednesday nights (pay-as-you-wish) and Friday nights ("Art After 5" dance party, with a different live music genre every week!)
Friday after Five concerts are awesome!
Amazing photography exhibit. Really enjoyed the breadth of the collection.
Who cares about what's inside? The best part is Rocky's steps.
Lots of great pieces by Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, Picasso, Pollock and lots of different pieces from all over the world.
Beautiful! But a bit expensive for tickets... I would suggest going on a weekend where you can get in free with a Bank of America card (usually first full weekend of the month)
This museum is amazing.
Saw the fashion exhibition. Pay what you wish First Sundays is a great deal.
Pay what you can admission on the first Sunday of each month.
