One of the most beautiful in the world. The first basilica of St Peter had been built by order of emperor Constantine on the spot of Peter’s tomb, near the circus of Nero where he had been martyrized. Managed by the Rome's Tourism Dept. in collaboration with //Avanti Concept Agency
Incredible architecture very big open space in front of St. Pietro Basilica
Visit at night to avoid crowds.
San Pietro Meydani. Ihtisamli
The other perfect place in Rome😌✌️
Entering just Piazza San Pietro is free if you are patient enough to stand in the line. However, if you wish to tour the chapel and museum as well, start your way from the museum.
Loved Piazza San Pietro.... The heart of Rome!!! A must visit...
Come and have a look in the evening and see the Vatican City in a different light.
Vatican and many beautiful historical and religious sites. Don't forget 2 bring ur best camera and bottled water. U can find a shop selling all about vatican's goods at the left corner of da entrance.
Great architecture. It's amazing to listen Papa with crowds.
Take a look at the statues of former popes surrounding the square.
Thebarchitecture and the canal. Photo spot.
Nice architecture of a historic place.
Walk, walk, walk...
Huge and enormous entrance to the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Spend some time to enjoy the enormity of the place.
What a magnificent place, go and enjoy Basilica di San Pietro!!
Beautiful, but usually hopelessly overcrowded.
After all these years the architecture still has a total wow factor. A great view of St Peters and a must have photo opportunity
A Rome must see ! Very impressive architecture !
Be sure to bring something to cover your knees and shoulders in the summertime if you want to go into the church
Worthy of your iPhones Pano mode 😁📷. Hang back for a great shot of the entire square and try and shoot for super early to beat the crowds! 😄🇮🇹
The most popular place in Vatican City
Visit when the crowds are light and stand in awe about what this place is like when it's full.
Nothing to say about this landmark. Just enjoy all beautiful arts and sculptures.
The colonnade is a handy place to shade from the sun, and refill your water bottle.
Looking at different people
One of the few sacred places that can be a fun experience too.
Beautiful architecture and a magnificent view of the basilica.
A huge plaza in front of St. Peter's Church where you can admire the beauty of the Vatican architecture and take some cool pics!
Beautiful architecture, the Basilica is huge and absolutely stunning! The visit is free don't buy the "Skip the line" tickets from the people selling them on the way there, it's not worth it.
Truly beautiful and shaped as a giant hug. There I truly felt loved by this city.
This place should be visited at 7 a.m. Not later.
Absolutely amazing. On wednesdays you can see the pope. The queue is so long you can wait for hours to go inside the cathedral.Better later in the evening.
Very beautiful and windy in winter!
Everything Bernini touched has become gold!
Free admission, however you need passport to enter museum or st. Peter basilica.
Don't forget to send a post card before you leave the Vatican
To skip the line: wake up early. Go to the Basilica at 7AM. Don't forget to climb to the Dome if your heart is in good condition :)
This place will first make you a believer, then it'll make you cheat all the people waiting in line and "nudge" your way into the top :)
There are two marble spots either side of the obelisk in the middle of the square. If you can stand and look at the colonnade from here, you can only see the one pillar in each row.
It is worth to see at evening
Beautiful square. Really special place.
Great place. You have to wait very long in the queue to get in, but it is it worth. And if you get in, buy a ticket and go straight to the top, trust me.
Atmosphere, architecture and history of Vatican area.
The core of Vatican City and various religions. A warm place in a huge space. Architecturally very intetesting
You have to visit this place when you're in Rome and the Vatican. End of January decorated with a christmas tree seems to be strange...
Nice to be here
