Located in the heart of the Uptown District, Picán Restaurant & Bar specializes in Southern cuisine with a sophisticated California twist. Fabulous lounge/bar; extensive bourbon portfolio, great patio scene and casual, upscale dining. Zagat rated.
We got seated right away on a busy Friday night. Service was lacking. Our waiter could have cared less about us and might as well have thrown the check at me at the end. Food was expensive, only ok.
Fried chicken with honey drizzle. Shrimp and grits. Collard greens with brisket.
Michael was NOT a good waiter. Wasn't attentive at all. The food looked good but didn't taste as good as it looked.
