    Supposedly this pier is known for hundreds of seals, but in early July there's only a few can be seen and not worth walk all the way up to here

    Skip it. Don't go just because someone told you "you can't miss seeing the sea lions." There are so many better things to see and do in the city.

    The most popular pier in San Francisco. All tourists come to see the California Sea Lions in the bay. You should visit Pier 39 before going to Fisherman's Wharf.
