Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. You can also see some of the 4,000 military and civilian aircraft by driving along the fence on Kolb Road by the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Check out the SR-71!
Day trip, interesting if you like that kinda thing....I liked it and I am not really into air and space stuff, affordable. There is a shuttle ($7-$9) that will ride you around the "bone Yard"
AAA and Pima county resident discount!
Free docent-led walking tours twice a day!
The aircraft exhibits at Pima Air & Space Museum are wonderful, but it’s the bone-yard next door with 4,400 abandoned jets that will make your jaw drop. Tours are first come, first served.
The Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, and is the largest non-government funded aviation museum.
Sunscreen provided for free in the bathrooms and when u get outside.
The 390th Memorial Museum is wonderful and heartbreaking. Definitely check it out.
This place is pretty cool. You get to see all the old bombers and some newer ones that have been designated for the graveyard.
Awesome place to collect mad Fitbit points. See *everything*.
Food is fantastic, but pricey. At least the profits go to the museum.
Home to SR-71A, serial number 61-7951
With over 300 aircrafts, you don’t want to miss out on the Lockheed SR-71 A Blackbird in Hangar 1 South … this is the only aircraft to exceed Mach 3!
Good food but unless you're rich I don't suggest feeding the family here! $45 to feed 2 adults and a 7 year old lol
Impressive collection, including Air Force and Marine presidential transports (Yup, JFK's plane is there too). Obviously, most of the collection is outside. Check the weather, come prepared.
Would love to bring my Grandfather here. RIP Pops.
this place is Awesome
this is an awesome place, I've been there a lot
The volunteers and guides here are amazing. Take advantage of their in-depth knowledge and ask them about the aircraft. And take the tram to hear even more!
If you ever get a chance to visit Tucson this is a must see. It's the second largest air and space museum only to the Smithsonian.
A great place to stop by when in Tucson! Whether you're an airplane aficionado or not there is TONS to see here!
Take one of the guided walking tours - many of the guides are ex-fighter pilots and such! They know & love what they're talking about.
One of the best air museums in the united states across from the BoneYard
Awesome collection of planes!
Super cool if your interested in history.
Walking through the outdoor displays is amazing. Tram only if you need it!
Wow, they got a REAL cessna 120! Omg omg omg!
Take the walking tour, it's free with admission and the docents are awesome!
if you like planes, this is your place. some veteran staff working who love to chat and answer questions
Most of the displays are outside, so plan accordingly.
The food is above average compared to other restaurants. A complete meal averages $10, also allows a wide view of the museum's aircraft yard.
See the Harrier jet in the yard. Even in the heat it's very cool.
Dorothy Finley Space Gallery is worth visiting. Great hands on exploration for children.
Get the membership, its worth it!!
