There is a pair of railroad tracks that run close to the children's playground. Also, the Orange Line comes thundering overhead every 5-10 minutes.

If you're a train buff, watch the Amtraks roll into the city across the river. Take the water taxi here from Olgivie or to Olgivie and load up your camera roll. Take a river tour with Urban Kayaks.

The park itself is nice; however I wouldn't make the trip just for it. Although, I 100% would make the trip to hop on the water taxi and ride it down to Michigan Avenue for $6!

Travel to Chinatown by water taxi. Ping Tom Park by the Chicago River is the hidden gem in the community. The pavilion is one of the most attractive structures in Chinatown.
