Norwegians have their own meatballs and here they made it so good! Served with mushy peas and lingonberries, exquisite! The fish macaroni pie is also recommended. Place gets packed in the evening.

Super cosy, down-home delicious Norwegian cooking, lovely service + good Norge beer taps. Also a penguin logo, so basically this place rules. Find your own seat, order at the bar; English menu avail.

It was the first time that I ate reindeer neck, It was very good. The staff was nice. They have power supplies and free Wi-Fi. The prices are acceptable since you are in Norway.

Super tasty traditional fish pie and very good draft beer (the selection IPA for ex). Arm yourselves with patience though, cause after 7.30 you wait to be seated and then some to get your food!

Delicious Norwegian Meatballs and Traditional Fish and Macaroni Pie. Many selection of local beers. Very crowded so might be a bit difficult to find a table, but service is wonderful. Very cozy!

Without the doubt the best restaurant in town. As good as other reviews say it is. The reindeerneck is awesome. An authentic Norwegian place. Please go visit when you are in Bergen!

Awesome selection of local beers and delicious home made hearty food. Try the double IPA and the sausages! A great antidote to the touristy hell hole down by the harbour.

Hearty food, friendly service. Note that the fish stew isn't soup - it's boiled cod, shredded and mixed with mashed potatoes! Delicious nonetheless though

Cusine was delightfully delicious!! Soup about 80NOK, sandwich with arctic shrimp(in fact not a sandwich, but a normal meal)about 100NOK. Further - more expensive but definitely worth it! Have a look!

The fish stew was unexpected but delicious! Served with a toast made of thin crisps --it hit the spot after a long day of traveling from Oslo. Drink with a side of weiss bier.

American thought: meatballs with lingonberries and pea "stuffing" is like a Norwegian version of Thanksgiving dinner! Delicious

We had traditional fish (picture) and reindeer. I didn't like the fish that much, but if you want to try out local food, I can only recommend it...

Cosy place. Great typical norwegian atmosphere. Main dishes are awesome. But you'll have to wait forever to get served, and dessert are shitty deep freeze.
