Three menu items you can't go wrong with - french onion soup (the crusty overflowed cheese is tastyyy), beef tartar (perfectly seasoned), cassolet (incredibly tender lamb shank)

Even if you're not on psychedelic mushrooms, the bathroom mirror will break you. On the other hand, the dining room's beautiful backlit bookshelves make you want to melt into a cozy booth.

This is one of my all time favorite spots in the LES. Great atmosphere, awesome food, good variety (even for veg/vegans). Highly recommended!

One of our all-time favorite places – we’re glad it’s hasn’t closed. If you’re looking for a lighter fare, try the Salad Nicoise, it’s one of the best in the city.

Dine here before it closes! Try the Escargots and the Steak Au Poivre. Make sure you visit the bathroom and check out the mirror of truth.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, cool people. Food is not great, very small portion of French toast. Next time i'll come here for coffee and get my lunch elsewhere.

Check out the mirror in the bathroom. It flips your reflection so you can see yourself how others see you.

Great space and vibe, fresh oysters, but rest of food is just OK. Stay away from the chicken in curry. It's like a bowl of coconut milk. Short Ribs was the best thing we had. Poor wine selection.

Avoid this spot. Bland food, no ventilation, very stuffy and hot inside during warm weather. On my list of places to avoid.

Worst service I have encountered at a NYC restaurant. Not knowing who ordered what, forgetting order elements and overcooking a burger. Fail.
