The whole menu. This is a once a year treat. Might as well do it up right. Native New Yorkers will have the Carl Reiner - mustard and sauerkraut. It goes well with the Emeril Dog.

I got the Mulholland Drive dog that came with bacon. The bacon was crispy and delicious, but also took over the entire flavor of the chili dog. I kind of wish I had just gotten the plain chili dog.

Best hot dogs in the West since 1939! Try one of their exotic and unique specialty dogs like the Huell Howser Dog or the Planet Hollywood Dog, but leave time - the line can last an hour even at 2 A.M.

My first time here ... Arrived 4pm on a Tues, with only a few people in line. Tried the Chicago Polish Spicy Dog (mustard, relish, lettuce, onion, tomato), fries & a diet cream soda. All delicious!!

Rosie O'Donnell dog isn't overwhelming. Royal Dog is for those who need two dogs. Chef Jamie's dog is super messy and has fajita mix, ranch, BBQ sauce, and guac. Get frings. It's good to try once only

The Fonda: chili, cheese, onions, and mustard. I substituted relish for onions...delicious! The line is long, but moves fast and definitely worth the wait! They accept credit cards.

A great stop for variety. The times I've been had a long line in the afternoon (up to an hour). Got lucky the most recent visit...but it was 11pm :p You gotta try it at least twice imho.

Yes the lines are long and they only take cash but its one of those places you just have to cross off your list when you're in LA. :) I've been to three different locations and they never disappoint!

Lazy people complain about the line because you actually have to stand and be away from your tv for an extended period. Its delicious and worth missing reruns for. Back to Pasadena complainer!

Don't expect the best hot dog you've ever had in your life. They're good, glad to have scratched it off the must do LA list, but not in any hurry to go back. Also, the line is never not long.

Best way to eat the 12" Jalapeno dog is to start from the ends & work your way in :) & add a cup of jalapeno to crunch on after each savoring bite!

Their hotdogs and polish sausage have really thick, snappy skins. Some people like this, some don't. I didn't, but going here is an experience and the topping selections are fantastic!

Chicago Spicy Polish dog is my favorite. You can actually taste the meat as opposed to the others with so many topping you can't taste the meat (as much).

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time, the wait during the week is usually around an hour just to order due to a long line. The weekend wait is longer so make a day of it.

My only tip is to cut the line. Okay, don't but when you do order it doesn't matter. It's all greasy yummy food. Have it your way, they make everything!

If you think adding chili and cheese to your hot dog and fries is a good idea, it is. But beware, you're in for a slooow afternoon.
