Take a bike ride on the walking/bike path that runs through campus.
Get involved—hang out with people who share your interests.
Attend a motivational or informative lecture.
On-campus Wi-fi is free and open.
Create your own running/exercise route through campus.
Grab some friends and snap a picture with campus gorilla statues, then post them on the Pittsburg State University Facebook page to show your Gorilla Pride.
Print lab reports for free at university computer labs. Some labs have page limits (like 20), but you could bounce from lab to lab if you have a long paper. Free is free!
Try new foods at International Presentations.
Don't try to park on campus! You won't find a spot. Drive there a little early and get a good spot behind the stadium or on a side street. (Unless you get to canpus around 6 am)
Don't even try parking in the stadium lot until the second week of classes.
Rock out at university concerts.
Play tag football on the practice field behind Gorilla Village.
In trouble? Students may request free advice from a university lawyer.
Its a great place to meet new people, not too big, and not too small, and go Greek if at all possible!!
