    the Clark burger with whiskey onions, Cabot cheddar, smoked bacon, & avocado. It truly was one of THE best burgers I've had! For dessert the New York Cheesecake with a blueberry compote!

    A piece of history old beautiful exposed brick. Old bar. The food was american Classic comfort. Drinks were strong but fairly priced. The staff was attentive. Food was awesome. A must do!!

    The cheese burger is brilliant! One of my all time favorites. Medium done, it melts in your mouth, and the partially fried pickles were the best part. The fries were excellent too.

    Love this place. The burgers make any New Yorkers "top 10" list. Great traditional New York bar. They make an awesome (but expensive @ $16) Bloody Mary too. Friendly bartenders and a local crowd.

    One of the best 'classic New York' bars in town. It certainly has the best personality of any place in East Midtown. Nice mix of old-skool charm and modern(ish) food/drink.

    An All-Time New York Great, one of Frank Sinatra's favorit New York haunts, mine too. Great Burger, but best of all, great old decor that's been unchanged for almost 100 years. Love it.

    The burgers here are awesome and they're made even better when paired with the onion strings. Good for a casual lunch or dinner. Keep an eye out for the old school bathrooms as well.

    Yeah, the burger, but their Lobster Roll with an order of french fries is the business! Only on Wed. though. Lobster mac-n-cheese is another good item. Only on Fridays though.

    Get the Cadillac Burger, named by Nat King Cole, because he called it the "Cadillac of burgers". He was right, it is one of the best burgers in NYC. Throw in some home fries and you'll be very happy.

    Grab the bacon cheeseburger or the Reuben with the fries and union strings. Everything was great, ended the meal with the NY Cheesecake. Perfect night out!

    The cadillac is amazing! Top it off with shoe string fries and a brooklyn lager or 2 or 3. Sooo goood! Service is friendly and prompt! Atmosphere is relaxed.

    Get the chips and dip. It's a homemade cheese-sauce. Incredible. Bonus points if you can convince them to bring fries instead of the chips, cuz the fries are incredible.

    The beer comes in mid size mugs and the burgers are incredible. Go with simply bun w/ a little extra. don't over do it. I love it here.

    Blue cheese lovers need to try the BBQ Blue Cheese Burger, it's even better than the Cadillac. Shoe string onion rings are great as well.

    Great burgers, but amazing desserts. Warm apple cobbler is delicious, and I don't even like apple cobbler. Sweet cream cheesecake? God, yes. And always great service.

    This was one of Frank's All-Time favorites. He loved to pop in to PJ'S for a Burger a couple Jack Daniels with friends. PJ's been around forever and thankfully has lost none of its Old World Charm

    Good cocktails, but on the expensive side ($13 - $15) and nothing too special. Burgers are great, and the fries are some of the best in the area.

    Built 1868 (originally four stories). P.J. Clarke's was established in 1884 and operated continuously since. It has been frequented by a number of famous people and featured in films, TV, and songs.

    Burgers are decent, as are sweet potato fries. Beware that if you're Scottish it appears that the accent makes 'Grolsch' sounds like O'Douls...which is non-alcoholic.

    Really packed bar. Enter on the side. Everyone raves about the burger, so I tried it. I was unimpressed. Maybe I expected more. It was decent but nowhere near the best burger.

    Calamari is a must, burgers are old fashion style and really juicy, onion string great side, but I'd skip the brownie dessert. Hostess and bartenders were dolls but our waitress was not great
