    Don't come to this state park to tent camp! Unless you have the safety of an RV or are intending just to go on the lake or in the pool, stay away! The squirrels are crazy and there are a TON of bees!!

    Here's where you should park if you are coming to the MTB trails at Pocahontas State Park from the north! Saves 20 min of driving each way!

    If you are coming from the north, park in the Qualla lot to save 20 minutes car travel time each way.
