People tend to check in during these times:
POLPO, a Venetian style bacaro, occupies the ground floor and basement of an early 18th century building in Soho, once home to the painter Canaletto, perhaps the best known and most prolific visual chronicler of Venice.
One of my favourite places in London
This was a perfect spot for a Soho lunch, delicious meatballs and tons of other dishes to try.
Venetian food of glorious awesomeness. Enjoy.
Terrible waiting staff. Food is mediocre. First time I've ever requested a service charge be removed.
Hmm. Think two years of glittering reviews have given way to complacency. Meatballs dry, duck ragu no flavour, plus everything tastes of uncooked canned tomatoes.
Incredible value, especially the larger dishes. Fish dishes are exceptional, desserts OK but not amazing
Affogato, gods answer to dessert!
The Fritto misto is amazing...
Great food, lovely vibe, just get them to turn the music down.
Food was average, at best.
Spritz it up, then dive into their fantastic menu. House wine is their own = dangerously quaffable. Finish with an affogato. King of desserts!
There's a probably-not-so-secret Campari bar downstairs for negroni fun
Drink many Negronis
mackeral tartare... anything. just yum!
Amazing amazing restaurant. great soundtrack. Try the sardines. DO IT!
Red wine by the demi-litre carafe is excellent, and a way to keep the bill down.
The liver is very good.
Hidden gem in Soho - well worth a visit. Try the mackerel tartare...
The best new(ish) place in soho.
Hmmmmmn. Been twice now and I don't quite get it. I just find the flavours a bit muddy.
Amazing prawn & artichoke linguine, bottarga plus Rabbit ragu, black olives & gnocchi. I will come back for sure!
spinach (with parmesan and soft egg) pizza is delicious. also, salad with beans too.
Sit at the bar. Service is very quick. Great place for a quick lunch.
These aren't the droids you're looking for... Move along. Move along.
They don't take parties over 6 but looks lovely.
I could basically write an essay on the bread in here
Aperol spritz is delicious; pizetta bianca is a must-order, and steak with truffle cream sauce is gorgeous.
Tip-top Italian tapas in Soho - impossible to book at since Giles Coren's rave review. Heavenly food, proper service and great Twitter action too. Low-key cool crowd. Again please and soon!
The arancini are to die for. Also the bigoli are great
Venetian dishes in small and larger plates to share. Each restaurant has a bar dedicated to a liqueur in the basement.
Fritto misto is a must
Food is good. Service not so much. They obviously like to turn the tables v.quickly as no reservations
It is a good choice for a cosy diner before movie kind'a place. Warm beer and cold tapas.
The Nutella Pizzetta needs ticking off your bucket list. Amazing.
Campari Bar, underground
Hmmm lovely very arty hipster style, lovely cocktails loooong waiting. Food is ok bistro style;( very expensive I have been in HIX Mayfair couple days ago I didnot pay that bill shame..;( )
Nice Italian tapas. The set menu for a large group is a good option.
I suggest, pizzette Basil and anchovy, baked peach amaretti and thyme and you have to finish drinking a cafè espresso. Smell the coffee and don't use the sugar, only for purist ;-).
Great campari bar!! Get the polpo salad & fennel salami with figs. Unmemorable: Meatballs, fennels almond, potatoes, fritto misto -
Great meatballs, though someone tell them to invest in some wine glasses
Get the house wine.
Great food, very busy at lunchtime (= very noisy), and very slow service.
Really fun restaurant with great food and a relaxed atmosphere must go back.
Is there anybody who still hasn't understood that you simply MUST have all the varieties of splendid meatballs? Best choice: the Meatball Piadina. Keep an eye on the specials board! True treasures.
Хороший итальянский ресторан, оч вкусно и быстро.
