Polvos is the only place to take out-of-towners who need to be figuratively punched in the face with Austin's diverse and youthful culinary spirit. [Eater 38 Member]

We looooove Polvos queso. However, if you're still sitting in the parking lot until a table opens up, Polvos might take your drink orders while you wait!

Go different and get the Tamale plate, fresh and fantastic! The salsa bar is great but if you want some real heat ask the waiter for the extra hot salsa they have in the kitchen... caliente!!!

Loud sorority girls. You'll probably hear Macarena played on the stereo. The red and black salsas are okay. Don't fill up on the pickled carrots or you won't want to order an overpriced entrée.
