It was Ok. A bit expensive for what it was.
Mike the bartender hooks you up! Former New Yorker and a sweetheart!
Champagne & WBTG
Watershed downstairs had a great vibe.
Pricey but good atmosphere and amazing service. Get the garlic frites with truffle butter. So good and perfect for two people paired obviously with champagne.
Amazing burrata! Tuna tartar
Amazing burrata and tuna tartar!!
Waited 15 minutes to get noticed in an otherwise pretty empty room...mediocre drinks, aloof bartender. 30 mins to order and pay for 2 easy to make drinks. I get atmosphere, but this place has none :\
Watershed bar downstairs has a large collection of Midwestern beers, liquor, and wine. Good atmosphere.
Staff is pretty awesome
Thienot rose brut
Jimmy... nough said.
Bubbly with Brails
Great for live jazz in the basement!
My new fav! ask for Michael..he is awesome & an amazing photographer, ask to see his gorgeous shots of Chicago
Trendy place, can get crowded on weekends. Food is pretty good, but I'm sad that they removed the Fried chicken thighs from the menu and made it only available downstairs at the Watershed.
Sparking wine, shared plates, trendy atmosphere
They have many bottles of wine (mostly sparkling wine) and a handful of half-bottles. I definitely recommend the Black Tiger Shrimp & the Duck BLTs. I would recommend against the Tempura Cheese Curds.
The people watching makes the high prices worth it.
Excellent selection of champagne and sparkling wine. Bellini is off the charts! However, beware of mussels -- they aren't fresh
Awesome. My fav place to hangout.
Get the cocktail made with Nolet gin.
Don't leave without ordering the Tempura Battered Cheese Curds. Salty, cheesy, and delicious.
Go for the grower champagnes and the Special Clubs.
Wonderful service... Fries and shrimp are lovely.
Pretty awesome champagne collection, the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. This was place was alive on a Thursday night till midnight.
The black 75 goes down smoooooooth. Tastes like amaretto, with sparkles.
The downstairs lounge is super chill and a great place to bring a group! Feels like my parent's basement. If my parents were like, the hippest gay couple in Chicago.
$10 of $30 or more with Drink Deck
You will be hard pressed to find a larger selection of champagne
The staff is very tall and they all have clear skin and they play a lounge version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart"
Mike the bartender looks like Jesus and is a master mixologist with an encyclopedic knowledge of champagne. Ask him what's good from their list of list of small producers... He won't steer you wrong!
Try the High Sage cocktail! Love it! 🍸
While the champagne is fine, don't overlook the cocktails.
The garlic frites with truffle butter are so good. I get them every time.
Argyle rose. Freaking fantastic
The risotto is delicious.
young & smart crowd!
This place is a mecca for herds of bachelorette parties. Which I'm willing to put up with to get that delicious Bellini aka elixir of life. Definitely worth the $13.
For any celebrations, Pops for Champagne is the place to drink bubbly and celebrate. You can also order a glass of Bordeaux and sip it over the Torched Blueberry Marshmallow Ice Cream, our favorite.
Overpriced champagne, but the apps and cocktails are really great (fried cheese curds, do it).
Try the Cuvée Flamme
Black Hills Gold and La Vie en Rose are tremendous! The Ahi Tartare beautiful presentation, tasted even more wonderful!! Love this place!
Hungry? You MUST indulge in the Wisconsin Tempura Cheese Curds. They're buttery and rich (and pairs nicely with champagne, right?!).
Ask Michael for a half bottle of Ruinart and a cheese plate. You won't be disappointed. Ruinart is the oldest champagne house in the France.
Don't come here. The sunday night bartender is super rude. Wish I knew her name. Insulting your clientele does not result in a good tip btw.
If an asian girl is working, avoid this place. Rudest bartender I've ever encountered.
