The pastries are divine! Food made fresh daily. Don't let long lines deter you; they move pretty fast. Plus it's worth the wait. Friendly, efficient & patient staff. Authentic Cuban food at its best!

Finally I had the chance to try the famous Porto's! And it's excellent. I ordered the Cubanito, the seafood potato ball and the steak empanadas. Next time I'll get the plate of chicken. It looks😋

My first experience was during the weekend. The lines were popping outside the entrance. It did not take long to order & food was delicious

The crumb cake is out of this world. The cheese cake is awesome and the Media Noche sandwich is a must have. New fave...The Brioche is TDF

A line already forms once opening. Guava cheese strudels, potato balls, meat pies, and more! People leave with boxes of this stuff.

The potato balls are my favorite but I can't leave without a coffee cake and cinnamon crumb bunt cake. Everything here is delicious and reasonably priced. Good value for your money!

What's good here? Everything! My favorites are macaroons and potato balls. Get there at 6:30am for easy parking and shorter lines

I can go on & on about this place but I just wanted to take a moment to rave about something I introduced myself to during my last visit-their WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA! 1st one I like more than Starbucks

Everything is great! But I can't leave without a box of banana chips and a fruit tart. My mom would say she can't leave without 15 potato balls, five other pastries, and a steak torta.

If you're after a classic Cuban sandwich, try the medianoche, made with roast pork, ham, mustard, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles served on soft, sweet bread similar to challah, then head to Porto's. Read more

Best OJ ever. Medianoche and Ropa Vieja sandwiches are delicious! Fried plantains, a must. You have to get the papas rellenas and the rellenitos. For sweets, the mixed fruit tart is my favorite!

If you want to skip the bakery line, the sandwich line is often less crowded; you can order baked goods there as well. I'll have one of everything, please. Plus a potato ball.

For a good time, pace up and down the baked goods case. The flan will bring you to a new level of appreciation for Mexican dessert...

The food is worth the wait. You can never go wrong with their potato balls, rellenitos, and meat pies. Great sandwiches that never disappoint, and breads galore.

One of the most popular is the dulce de leche Bundt cake, a vanilla sponge cake filled with caramel and topped with a dulce de leche glaze. In addition to the towering cakes. Read more

Guava and cheese pastries and Cuban medioniche don't get any better than this. Don't be discouraged by the long line. It goes fast! Worth the wait!

I went for lunch and I asked if they had any vegan options they said no, so I went ahead and ordered a vegetarian sandwich and asked for no cheese... I get home to find cheese in it ... That's a waste

Ask for Potato Balls filled with chicken or beef. After that, Guava with Cheese pastry is the best! Come early on weekends. It's packed!

Fancy looking cafe and bakery with tons of things to choose from. The checkered chocolate mousse cake is amazing! Also the plantain sides for the sandwiches at the cafe are good as well.

Place gets packed so either go with time to spare or come early before 12 or late after 3. Love their Steak Tortas or the Sirloin Salad w/a Iced Vanilla Coffee. Tons of cheap pastries to choose from!

Potato balls & red velvet cupcakes...all you need to know about Porto's! Usually pretty crowded, but always worth it. Also lots of really cute vintage shops further down Magnolia for after you eat :)

Potato balls had nicely spiced ground beef mixture. Cheese rolls, coconut roll, meat pie, turkey croissant, pan con lechon sandwich, creme brûlée, and the Cuban sandwich were all DELICIOUS.

Get a sandwich and get a few pastries as an appetizers and for the house. I suggest potato balls, meat pies and guava pastries. The mango smoothie is unbelievable. Enjoy!

The polvarones cookies are AMAZING!! They are like a super airy shortbread and sugar cookie combined. Doesn't look like much but don't be fooled - great taste!!!

Very clear that they have become too good for their customers. Their reputation (which is deteriorating) has given them their self-awarded license to treat their customers like shit.

This place is always pack, even years after they've opened so I recommend at least coming 10-15 minutes before closing because they close super early like 730 and then your S.O.L.

I like to call this place Gordo's -- it's not the best choice if you're on a diet, but damn it's good! Croquetas de pollo are da bomb, and don't skip the pastries or coffee.
