This place is not pet-friendly at all!! Got turned down with my puppy :(
Dessert menu is absolutely amazing! Pastry Chef Casto Unson is talented and extremely good at complimenting flavors and textures. Definitely get dessert!
LOVE the patio! Tucked away in the middle of Penn Quarter/Chinatown, this place is nothing like its surroundings. It's an oasis. Great place to bring visitors/out-of-towners.
From Washingtonian: Get the Onion-soup Burger
Great cocktails, cool indoor and outdoor venue.
Truffle fries, outdoor dining. Yes.
Washingtonian recommends the onion-soup burger.
the chorizo and mushroom tartines were so good we had to have encores :) they paired very well with the Francois Villard (Rhone, FR) 2012 Syrah and the Punto Final (Mendoza, AR) 2012 Malbec
The truffle fries are sinful.
Oysters oysters oysters
Poste miraculously feels miles away from the tourist chaos outside its walls.
The brasserie-style fare and not to be missed truffled frites accompany a stellar cocktail program.
The truffle fries are a masterpiece. You won't be disappointed, unless you're a terrorist.
Not easy to access if you have a disability. The only ramp is 1 1/2 blocks from the valet parking and it was covered with snow and ice 5 days after the snow storm. Then, the door was locked.
Has a firepit
Truffle fries, duck donuts, bloody bar, basil lemontini. I wish I could live there.
Seems like a great restaurant with great ambiance. But whhhhhy does no restaurant have any espresso drinks.
From Washingtonian: Bloody Mary bar
the onion soup burger is one of the best things in DC
The Miss Crunchy brunch monte Cristina is amazing! Indulgently Delish!
The Chesapeake Eggs Benedict with crabcakes was great for brunch! The duckfat doughnuts, on the otherhand, were not all they were 'quacked-up' to be. Very crisp surface, dense and a heavy aftertaste.
Love the bartender Sev but the lunch special is weak in terms of options!
The patio is great for smallish groups, dates or after work crews. Be sure to ask about their infused vodkas and in-house infused vodkas.
Get the duck fat doughnuts!
Try the Cookie Plate
Try the Macaroni and Cheese - Best thing I've tasted in DC!
Order the truffle fries and popcorn - so good! Also, note that there is essentially no restroom - you have to go through into the hotel and up to the next floor.
The outdoor space smells like rotten eggs.
Whoever said $4 happy hour truffle fries at happy hour is a liar. But they are good, despite being $$
delicious cocktails if you handle the sewer stench
Coordinate with your group to collectively will the breeze to blow. It might work!
This is a great watering hole - lots of sun, great service and exceptional cocktails. Reminds me of the legendary, but now defunct, Post Bar in East Lansing.
Highly overpriced for what you get. Breakfast $66.83 w/o tip. Eggs were good but son's waffle dry and not worth $17!! Waiter was good though.
Bacon infused Bloody Mary!
Lovely place to catch up with an old friend
Two words: truffle fries.
Turnip Soup, Beef Bourginon and Chocolate Pot De Creme.... Amazing for Restaraunt Week
Great bar staff and an amazingly huge patio
Bloody Mary bar is best I've found in DC.
Everything is simply amazing!
The bathroom is far, far away.
The truffle fries are to die for.
Try the Seafood Cobb - Yummy brunch and great bloody mary bar @postedc @chefdennis@kimptondc
Bloody Mary bar will not disappoint.
Service out on the patio has gotten so much better with the new outdoor bar! Grab a glass of vino, some sliders & truffle fries.
