New Year's Eve in Pottsville is marked by the raising of the Yuengling beer bottle to the top of the flagpole at Garfield Square. Ring in the New Year with a toast to the oldest brewery in America!
I was born and raised here moved away 6 years ago but my mom still lives here, I visit every chance I get.. Pottsville is very rich in history and I will always call it home ❤
Avoid both Chinese buffets & the mall... not worth it.
Pottsville is cool!
Very interesting, unique, facinating & extremely dated architecture in town! A lot of really nifty places to shop. Pick wild raspberries & strawberries by the gargoyle fountain!
I recently moved here in March. As with any town or city, Pottsville has its strengths and weaknesses. I find it quaint.
Had a blast at the Lager Jogger - hope to be back next year!!!
Ain't as bad as you can think. People could be rude.. Just don't look everyone in the eye..
Grab a couple two/tree lagers and head up ta the Burma for a good time.
Horrible town, horrible people, and avoid town if possible
Nick Dronick owns the town!
Do your best to avoid living here.
