Creative cafe and coffee shop by day, gourmet bistro and wine bar by night!
Croissants are not crunchy at all, which is too bad. Coffee is excellent and great place to linger.
Probably the best, local coffee shop in the area. Great lattes and a really cute back area that's great for reading or catching up with a friend
Great coffee. Great service.
Their Nutella latte is fantastic. It retains a good coffee flavor while having the perfect subtle hint of chocolatey Nutella.
I come here for the 90s R&B and to work on my thesis b/c #thisisthe90s ... but for reals, nice ambiance, good foods, and one day I'll try the Nutella latte.
Half sweet Nutella latte is the best.
a really cute coffee shop - I loved that their soy chai latte was spicy and sweet!!
Get a Nutella latte and grab a seat in the back garden.
Nutella latte iced = equally delicious. WiFi is weak on the back patio, but it's where you want to be on a nice day.
Just love the nutella latte! Friendly staff and cozy interior make it one of my favorite coffee places in DC.
Wifi password is "delicious"
Shaded backyard patio is quite the find!
Coffeeshop or brunch may be good, but go elsewhere for dinner. Sliders are ok but Mac & cheese, pasta, service, and the waitress's unfamiliarity with the menu made for a mediocre at best experience
The Hot Nutella is great. Good place to read, but it can get full on the weekends.
The sliders are so good that it's almost inappropriate; they go perfectly with a glass of the Duck Pond Syrah. (Even better w/ 2.) Also yum: the affogato brownie/ vanilla ice cream/espresso shot combo
Always can get a tablet with a power outlet to top off your internet machine over an amazing coffee.
Bring your laptop and sit at the 3-seat bar. Music's always great and so are the baristas!
Ask Heather about the Nutella latte.
Nutella coffee brings all the girls to the yard but really everything here is top notch. Grilled cheese is legit and world cuisine specials are on point as well.
If you haven't had their Nutella latte, you haven't lived. It's exquisite.
John Brown coffee is amazing and midday happy hour
Pulled pork anything.
Decaf iced vanilla latte always makes me feel refreshed! Not too sweet, not too plain- just the taste you are dreaming of for it!
Waited more than 15 min to order a glass of wine while the waiter sat and chatted with the only other customer in the bar. Then he tells me they shut off the wifi in the evening. Won't return.
Like everyone says, the nutella lattes are life-changing, but if you're up for something else the honey pear iced tea and ultimate grilled cheese are delicious, too.
With warmer days upon us, the Raspberry Nutella Surprise frap is summer indulgence.

Had the latte of the day (Samoan aka girl scout cookie flavor - coconut and mocha) which was amazing. However $6+ for a latte is no bueno.
Great spot. Check the hours closely; on some days the cafe closes at 4 pm.
They now charge more then megabucks * Just not worth the price *
They play the best music. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Smiths, Arcade Fire, The Cure, The Roots, etc.
Pumpkin chai. Or for happy hour get a brew and the hummus appetizer!! So goooood
Sweet tooth? The Italian Elvis with Nutella is mind blowing.
Yes you can get Hot Chocolate here, but next time go for a Hot Nutella if you haven't already! It maybe the choice you go for mostly!
Nutella latte. It's as good as it sounds.
One of my favorite places in the District to just relax and get a cup of great coffee.
Eat. Croissant sandwiches did not disappoint. Such friendly staff!
Get the Nutella latte and scone. Delicious.
After4 no free wifi!!!! dinner time menu

Bistro small plates menu: chicken cordon bleu croquettes and the hummus plate are delectable!
Try the "Frozen Nutella Goodness." The name is pretty self-explanatory... Goodness.
Kitchen is never open before 8 am on weekdays
Espresso was pretty rough, over extracted. Now kicking everyone out at 4 to transition to dinner service? Dumb model planning. They just turned away 8 customers in about 3 minutes.
You must try their brand new bistro dinner menu! Crispy Chicharrones and Coq au Vin Dumplings...that's all I'm gonna say!
Check for a seat before ordering food. May be best to go somewhere else due to the wi-fi crowd.
