The whole reason to come here is the outdoor patio with scenic views of most of the downtown DC monuments. Incredible location! The happy hour food and drinks are not bad too.

Walk in and put your name down for a table. Grab and drink at the bar and wait. Get a text that your table is ready and continue with small bites and more drinks

Read some of the reviews here & we were skeptical. Turns out they were quite accommodating. Service was good, food was good & everything is always better with unlimited mimosas. Ask 2 sit with Serita.

Everyone mentions the view of the White House (which is great), but the view of the rest of the city is even better. Bring your camera with panoramic feature.

Hands down the best views in the city. Head here on a weekend afternoon and take the elevator up to the 11th floor and enjoy a cocktail.

Amazing view. That's all this place is worth, a great view. At night they go 4 a 'club' vibe, but the music is bad. Ultimately only tourists and the old men trying to hook up with them come here.

best rooftop view in the district. this venue is about as "LA Scene" as it gets, reserving table space is the best approach. dont forget the lobby, its underrated! and it's just as nice

Make sure you ask for a table with chairs...we had a reservation with a view (which was fantastic) but our chairs did not have backs and my older mom couldn't stay. Also- sun was in her eyes... Ugh..

Winter: it's time for locals to take it back. The view of some of Washington's most noteworthy national landmarks, will remind you why tourists flood here every summer.

The commitment to mixology at P.O.V extends to every element: even the ice in your drink is customized, in spheres, cubes, spears, or freshly shaved off a giant ice block.

One of the best views in D.C.! Washington Monument can be a competition, but they don't serve cocktails there. Prices are reasonable.

The bar at the W Hotel is known for the best views of the city. It is more notable than the hotel itself.

Simply an unbelievable view of the monuments and white house that I can't believe nobody has ever told me about. Prices aren't as bad as you might think, given the view. $7 beers and $15 cocktails.

The service is dreadful, but people put up with it because of the view. Food is pretty good - the cheddar/jalapeño peppers and black pepper shrimp are standouts.

The view is spectacular. Friendly staff. Food is okay. Modest-sized drinks are VERY overpriced: Bloody Mary was $15; Regular iced tea/$5; Mimosa/$15. Can't beat the view though.
