One of my absolute favorite places in San Fran! Gorgeous views, dog friendly, perfect for a long walk/picnic/run. Always a bit chilly/windy so plan accordingly. Tons of history, architecture, etc.

trails all lead to hidden art. get a drink at PSC, find the warming hut at the end of crispy field, or just go bowling for all you can eat/bowl sundays. i lived here for over a year- LOVE IT.

Start at the southern side of the park and make your way to the Golden Gate on the bay ridge trail or enter from the Marina and walk along Crissy Field for spectacular views of the bridge.

A must-see/drive thru location in SF. Gorgeous park and views. Oh, and I was born here when it was a military base! Lucas Films office is here. Find it, and right outside you'll see the Yoda fountain!

Great way to get pics of the Golden Gate Bridge without having to go drive across and wait for pics. Beautiful other picture opportunities too. Bring a hoodie, its very windy!

The longest garrisoned military base in the US. Walk in and smell all the Eucalyptus. Then get lost on walking trails (or bike). All the landscape was designed and the trees were imported.

For a quiet respite while in San Francisco, head to the historic Presidio, home to over 60,000 trees, many walking trails and six vista point overlooks.

One of the most beautiful parks you will ever see. There's a reason why people film here whenever they're in SF. LUCASFILMS HQ is also on the site - look for the Yoda statue

Beautiful views if the Alcatraz and the Pacific on the presidio loop trail. Park near the club house and do the loop of around 3.8 miles

Taking a run through the Presidio on a sunny morning is the best way to get inspired. Run through to a high vantage point and look out on the bay. Nothing beats it.

Dog friendly but must be on leash in most areas. You can find some trails that lead Dow to Chrissy Field that are off leash.

A gorgeous park to walk in if you're in the need to clear your head or just want a bit of a nature fix that's right within the city limits. Miss this place so much.
