People tend to check in during these times:
Known for the sandwiches served with fries and many other fixings! As seen on Travel Channel’s Man v. Food Nation.
order any sandwich. cheesesteak is good, rajin cajun too if you can handle spice.
I applaud your attempt to apply any worldly experience you may have acquired throughout your life to make sense of the food coma you are about to enter.
You haven't experienced Pittsburgh until you have tried a Primanti Brothers sandwich.
Bread, Meat, Cheese, Fries, Cole Slaw, Tomato, BreadIs there really anything more that needs to be said?
Do not leave Pittsburgh without eating here, the Black Angus Seroin Strip is possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. Also try the Smallman Street Fries, they are bangin.
Cheese fries ... yes.
Pastrami is the only answer here! Nom Nom Nom!
Corned Beef, do it.
This "almost famous" restaurant has an interesting sandwich menu, and all sandwiches are topped with french fries and cole slaw. Try the popular Pittsburgher cheese steak.
If you're a virgin, get the pastrami or the kielbasa. If this is your second time, add an egg. And whatever you do, be sure to wash it all down with an Iron City beer.
Try the Cheese Steak Primanti Sandwich and spot it on Foodspotting!
Get the egg!
Great piece of Pittsburgh folklore. Went to original location as well as PNC park. The sandwich at the ballpark was just as good as the restaurant...pleasant surprise.
You can't leave Pittsburgh without coming here.
Cash Only = you're pathetic
Who needs plates?
Be careful downstairs in the bathroom....
Cash only. Open 24 hours.
The cheesesteak is divine. Out of towners (I was one) make sure you leave on the tomatoes and cole slaw!
The one must-stop when visiting Pittsburgh. They have many locations now, but the original is the one to go to first.
Don’t forget to stop by every Pittsburgh native’s favorite sandwich shop, the original Primanti’s Restaurant & Bar, located at 46- th 18 Street.
Do not be discouraged by the long lines! It moves fast and the food is amazing! Had the roast beef & cheese. Sooo good. Must visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.
DAT CAJUN CHICKEN 8D
Best server ever!
Because your in Pittsburgh and it's pretty much a requirement. Plus, this is the original location. Choose a classic sandwich or try the chili cheese fries, their perfect on a rainy day.
Stupid gimmick + some of the blandest food I've ever had.
If you like it spicy - go for the Cajun. Otherwise, Sirloin and Cheesesteaks are great!
Their Cheese Steak sandwich is terrific
It is what it is. No real silverware, plates, glassware. No menus, the servers don't come back to check on you nut to bring the bill...verbally might I add
Pastrami and egg. Always! Cash only too. Don't forget that.
Hell everything is AWESOME!! Just order and enjoy:-)
The original is legendary for a reason! A must stop in Pittsburgh!
Dripping with a 1930's feel this old school establishment is definitely worth a visit. Quick service when u get in . Unique sandwiches that hit the spot. Visit this location the original.

Not worth it. Going to McDonalds.
The one in the Strip District is the Best! Love, love, love Primanti Brothers Capicola with a Pickle & cold one on the side :)
Try the The Pittsburgher - With slaw, fries and a fried egg ON the burger! (via @Foodspotting)
I am charmed by their incredibly oversized warm capicola sandwich stuffed with French fries and coleslaw.
Whatever you do, don't eat in the back room. Two-thirds of the time, we were totally ignored. It's not a high-maintenance place, I know. No refills, though indicated.
Eh. I don't get the fuss. Super bland food.
The pastrami is the sandwich to get!! Hands down.
