Excellent place to go and relax and read your book with a cup of coffee. There's a small terrace you can sit at. The biggest variety of English titles in Tiblisi. Definitely recommended! 😊
English books are quite limited, but it's better than nothing. I like their notebooks and cards for sale. They usually have the titles that are quite popular (i.e. The Game of Thrones).
Cozy atmosphere with nice but slow staff. Coffee would be great if well prepared. You need to ask for normal cup if you dont want the paper one. Cats laying around the court yard.
At first sight is not the most comfortable place with simple and plain food. The place is started to be better after 2 hours with books. Found a book with Eastern vegetarian recipes (from Vegistan))
I'd say, best bookstore of all. Especially if you're looking for English Literature, been my favorite for a long time. You can also have a sit in a cozycafe with wi-fi.
At every bookstore i've been to in the USA, I was always encouraged to take pics inside. It's odd that in a country where foreigns are routinely photographed without permission, they have this. Read more
Prospero's, your best bet for English language books, but be warned, books are expensive. Only in Georgia would the sole English language bookstore prohibit taking pictures like it's 1989.
Utterly very goоd place. Accurately cozy environment, yummy drinks and etc. You can hardily don't listen and do not believe the bad (fortunately we don't have a truly bad reviews here!) reviews ;-)
Prospero's Books on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi. Your best bet for finding English language (or German) books. Be warned, it is easy to miss. Here's the sign on Rustaveli. Read more
Bigger but not better. Still good for English books on Georgia. Disappointing cafe. Returned stale brownie. Offered something else eventually as we're leaving but all too late. No refund offered.
Cozy atmosphere in the court yard but the worst latte ever. Where do they take this coffee bones from in Tbilisi? Starving to find an acceptable coffee :(
