A place that’s serious about its food and drink, but still remembers that the reason people go out drinking in the first place is to have some fun.
all around awesome spot. good for a big group in the back room.
Pub & Kitchen serves up some of the best burgers in Philly, & British classics like blood sausage and Fish & Chips. They also age their own cocktails in mini-casks for added flavor. [Eater 38 Member]
Get the Churchill. Shockingly worth the extra. Best drink in Philly is their Manhattan imho.
P&K's whiskey wings are so sweet and addictive!
Gin drinkers can do themselves a favor and ask for TuB.
Try the Sunday brunch or even Saturday lunch.
order a ROOT cocktail while I'm here and it's on me! I love ROOT n' Ginger or ROOT n' club soda with lime!
RIP Churchill Burger....
Try the TuB Gin. Good with Q Tonic or in a martini up.
The service was fair at best.
With a solid beer selection, delicious fish & chips and burgers (the “Churchill Burger” is a local favorite); this is an inviting casual neighborhood spot.
Burgers were ok. I ordered mine medium rare and it was beyond medium. Service was good but burgers were definitely sub-par compared to others in the city.
Churchill burger, bone marrow, fries, and cornbread stuffing!! Short ribs and chicken wings were just ok.
Churchill burger and bone marrow appetizer
What the honey whiskey wings lose in size they definitely make up for in flavor. Not too crispy, but not to tender. Perfect appetizer. Other good point? Did I mention they were honey whiskey?
not sure if the churchill burger is really worth it, but was def into the spicy shrimp corn bread
Late night happy hour tonight, with $4 Sapporo!
Most enticing drink names I've come across in a while (inspired by David Bowie), with flavors to boot!
Duck grilled cheese is delicious.
Cheese plate is amazing. Use the red pepper jelly.
There is a new chef and a new menu! I never had the old hamburger, but this one was OK not the best burger ever
Look out! There's a new chef! All the other tips are now no longer valid!
Best cheeseburger I've had since moving to Philly.
Great for brunch and drinks.
Turns out that oatmeal should always be made with buttermilk...
What’s rare is a place like Pub & Kitchen, where one can make a meal out of the sides—that is, if you don’t feel weird sitting at the bar and eating “Guts and Glory” chicken stuffing with a spoon.
Pub & Kitchen brings it every day, with excellent food, a well curated beverage program plus excellent and dare we say, attractive service.
best food and great atmosphere
Burgers are a great choice, but instead of their Churchill burger ($18), I recommend the Parliament Burger ($14). Churchill only has sautéed onions while Parliament has house-smoke bacon & cheddar!
Step 1: Get a the churchhill burger. Step 2: enjoy.
Everything's great but the whole wheat cavatelli w/ pea & truffle butter AND the Churchill burger w/ bone marrow butter are MUSTs! Best burger in Philly and NYC. No lie from this New Yorker.
Steer clear of the Bread Pudding. Its my fave, get it everywhere, and it's rather subpar... :o\
Brunch: get the bacon toffee French toast...even if it means spitting amongst friends. For drinks try the Alsace-Lorraine
Top notch drinks, beers, burgers & oysters.
I had the braised short ribs , and they were soooo good. Extremely tender, really tasty sauce. YUM. Get it.
Barrel-aged manhattan. Best man cocktail.
A popular mainstay in the G-Ho neighborhood, Pub & Kitchen is the perfect spot for warming up with tasty dishes (we wouldn't dare call it "pub food") and a cozy, almost regal-looking bar area.
