We needed that kick of tomato spice from the fried calamari, yet we knew why they were once named Best Pizza after having the Melanzane pie with its light textured eggplant and juicy currants.

Strange treatment. No service for 15 minutes and when the waitress finally got to us she ignored the order and brought water instead of taking or long thought out order. Needless to say, we left.

Eggplant dip is the dip of the dip. Pizzas are 5 star! And they have the best manager in town, she is on top of her game!

Meat ravioli is awesome. Although I feel icky saying "meat ravioli" to anyone. But seriously. It's awesome. If you're really hungry and a big eater - you'll have to get a side.

BEST squid ink pasta dish in the city. Finishing with the black forest cake, or gelato+sorbet, is totally necessary.

Try the all beef meatballs - amazing flavor! Skip the mozerella & heirloom tomatoes salad and ceviche, not exciting. Pizzas can be too salty

Nutella dessert pizza is great. It's basically pizza crust with nutella, salt and olive oil - simple and delicious. Put a little extra salt on there and enjoy.

The pear salad with crouton was the best thing I've eaten in awhile - and absolutely loved the baked ricotta. These two dishes out-shined the salsiccia pizza by FAR.

Excellent thin crust pizza lives at Pulino's — a triumph over the bland, overly cheesy, thick-crust pies of the 1980s-1990s. Must try: offbeat Bloody Mary drinks.
