"Bring water shoes, it's rocky! Doesnt look like much, but keep swimming/wading out, its a gem!! Bring your snorkel mask and float around! Just be careful for giant waves over the cove!!"
Laniakea (Turtle) Beach
61-581 Pohaku Loa Way
"So beautiful and quaint. Saw so many surfers far into the ocean. I didn't have a chance to go late in the afternoon to see the turtles sleeping but I did get to see them swimming near the rocks!"
Malaekahana State Recreation Area
"Great spot for boogie boarding. It's a really nice beach, which the locals use. It rarely gets crowded so if you are looking for a couple's place to hangout, this is it."
61-031 Kamehameha Hwy
"One of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. Crystal clear water and no waves in the summer. Jump off the rock cliff on the left or just spend the day wading in the water. Rock climbing too!"
O'ahu's North Shore (Kamehameha Hwy/Ehukai Beach Park)
"Check the surf reports if you're in Hawaii. We took a last minute trip to see the 20-25 footers and caught a contest. It was worth it!"
Sunset Beach Park
59-104 Kamehameha Hwy
"Can't complain about an amazing beach! From surf competitions to picnics and family gatherings, the location, access to comfort stations and views of sunsets - this beach won't disappoint."
