The pool, location, and free wifi are great, but make sure you don't get a room facing Niddry Street because the pub patrons in the street will keep you up all night.

Cozy hotel with really friendly service. Basic amenities in room but quite adequate for a short stay. Reasonably close to the hub of things too.
