Experience authentic, Japanese ramen at Rai Rai Ken. It's the next best thing to a visit to Japan.
Shoyu ramen (with or without wonton). set C with charshu on the side. Plus a glass of draft beer. You are in heaven.
Very good place to eat and enjoy the day. Plus the delicious food!! The atmosphere is very comforting. I've been coming here many times! ^__^
Spectacular happy hour deals-- went in for a real late dinner and drank lots of cheap, cold Sapporo.
Cash only! This spot is homey, clean and makes a good bowl of ramen. Try the pork buns, too!
Got the miso ramen with the thicker noodle, was almost like an udon noodle. Wasn't very impressed but I would give it another shot.
The Ramen is to die for
Had the ramen, it was kind of average. Flavor didn't jump out at me 😐
Amazing pork buns! The Mibo Ramen was to die for
Small and cozy ramen house.
4-6pm is the real happy hours that will make you super happy :) Don't miss out!!!
Very good soup. Get the happy-hour gyoza. So good and cheap.
Very good soup. Get the happy hour gyoza. So good and cheap.
Used to be better when it was a hole in the wall with six seats. Still decent.
Ramen, ramen, ramen... Delicioso!. El servicio no es tan bueno como su comida.
More like Chinese noodle soup than authentic Japanese ramen. Not a favoured ramen place.
The miso ramen is amazing! Also try the fried rice.
Delicious and cheap ramen! I love the Miso flavored Ramen -deeply flavorful, though the Shoya Ramen with Pork is good too. The Almond Tofu dessert is delicious.
Get here a bit early and put your name on the door behind the curtain because it can get busy on weekends and Friday nights.
The mabo ramen has just the right amount of spiciness.
Soup broth is made by simmering organic chicken bone for 12 hours.
Miso ramen with extra corn is the way to go!
The pork buns are the bomb, the ramen is hearty, maybe not the best in NYC but it hits the spot on a cold day.
Solid shoyu ramen when Momo is too busy. Fried rice is awesome.
Stop reading this and just get the pork buns!
I miss this place much!!! Greart curry ramen & shoyu ramen♥
Ask for your extra pork. You're welcome.

Pork buns and cheap ramen - too good
The Shio Ramen is my go-to here, with butter. Ask them to add butter. Trust me. Just tell your judgey friends that its a Japanese thing, and they have no culture, you cant take them anywhere.
Totally legit ramen, great prices, and open way late. Can't go wrong.
Shoyu ramen is flavorful and the pork belly was tasty. Not the best but a really solid bowl of ramen.
Cash only btw.
The shoyu ramen is a staple. Can't go wrong.
Very much classic style of shoyu ramen and fried rice "Tyahan" are the best selection. They are likely Syouwa era, the year of 1925-1989, so it is classic!! Take an annin-tofu for dessert. Enjoy!
Mapo Tofu Ramen.
Ask about the secret menu!
The wonton in the wonton ramen are literally SKIN ONLY. No filling.

What to Order: Shoyu Wonton ramen-noodle soup, with shrimp-and-pork wontons, bamboo shoots, a boiled egg, spinach, fish cake, dry seaweed, and scallion in a soy-sauce-based pork-and-chicken broth.
No more late lunch special....
Not worth the wait at all, shoyu ramen was bland and Mabo was too thick, too much cornstarch.
Best ramen in manhattan. The end. Pork buns are sex in my mouth

The bathroom is magical.
