great place to visit if you plan to fly somewhere.
While you’re waiting for your flight, you can stay connected with AT&T Wi-Fi. It’s easy to connect and free for AT&T customers w/ certain smartphone or home broadband plans.
Love the new terminal. They have USB outlets to charge your electronics requiring a US plug in. You don't find that in too many airports.
Tip of the day: use your cell phone camera to take a quick photo of were you parked. Makes it easier to locate your car when you return.
Now that most of the airlines moved to Terminal. C security lines can get long, don't count on skating through in a few minutes any more.
If you're pickig someone up, the best place to sit and wait is sheetz. At least the cranky cops can't bother you there!
If you are picking someone up, one of the best places to wait is the Observation Park near General Aviation. Great view of the planes landing and leaving.
Park your car just outside the fence just west of the north entrance. Lay down in the grass. Wait for a plane. Scream as it flies right over your head.
Sometimes it's better to not take the Expert Traveller security line- the other lines usually have more open and move faster.
Best deal on food: Brookwood Farms, in T2, has $1.49 tacos and bbq sliders. Located in between the CPK and gate C9.
Delta was quick at the checkin. Don't need to arrive 2 hrs early.
If you are flying southwest from T1, find the outside parking lot directly across from the far side dropoff. U have to search the garage for the secret entrance but it's a hell of a timesaver.
Go to 5guys for an early morning pick-me-up. They're open at 4am and serve a mean bacon, egg and cheese
Welcome to Raleigh! If you want to listen to the local NPR station, turn your dial to FM 89.7 (WCPE) or 88.9 (WSHA). Enjoy your trip.
Go to RDU, park in the lower level of the parking deck and grab a quick pint at Gordon-Biersch before your departure in Terminal 2
RDU Terminal 2 is the nicest, cleanest airport I have ever flown in and out of. Hope they do the same with Term 1!
Great flight with @jetblue again!
looking for a quiet place to sit and wait? Try C8, it's not used often for flights.
Closest place to get to Carolina not only in your mind!!
Avoid the egg sandwiches at Jason's Deli on the D concourse. Worst 8 bacon egg and cheese I've ever had.
Seafood Bisque @ 42nd Street Oyster Bar!!
My home airport. TSA is efficient and super friendly, Pre-Check is a snap, and the airport is always clean. Get the RDU Passport to make parking 100% painless!
People are so friendly here- that Southern hospitality.
I <3 this airport! It is clean, spacious & has funtionally modern & elegant design that really stands out! All airports should look/work like this! :-)
Grab a drink at Carolina Vintages in Terminal 2, Near Gate D3.
Five Guys between D3 and D5
One of the fastest baggage claim times in the US
Have a great trip and weekend
One my new favorite regional airports, even better than pdx. Beautifully warm wooden beams provide a great contrast to the steel and cables. Also the only gordon biersch brewery I've seen in these par
North Carolina Museum of Art: Worth the trip for the building alone – the light-filled glass-and-anodized-steel West Building won praise from architecture critics nationwide when it opened in 2010.
Need to charge your electronic device? Look under the triangular tables in the waiting areas. They have USB ports as well as regular outlets for charging everything.
The grilled cheese at Five Guys (not on the posted menu) with the free fixins is the cheapest and tastiest thing you can get here. Three dollars!
JetBlue flies nonstop to Boston. Easy business travel.
Don't forget to turn lights off inside car before you leave, so you don't come back to a dead battery!
Find rare beauties at Raleigh/Durham International Airport's shops! Vintage novels, collectors maps, and sports memorabilia are just a few options.
Great airport to fly out of or into. The new terminal is state-of-the-art
If you're flying out, come visit me at one of the Paradies shops. I'm sure to be around.
Did the TSA raid your makeup bag, gorgeous? Benefit to the rescue! Come see our instant beauty rescue vending machine near Gate C3 #FlyBenefit
Nice clean and quick airport. Good to fly from.
Try parking on level 3 or 6!! There is usually parking there :)
Check out 2nd Edition used books by gate D8 - good selection!
People at the Starbucks are grabby. Ask the baristas to write your name on the cup when they take your order.
Save time for a great shoeshine at the bottom of the escalator after the Security Checkpoint.
Might be too late for this trip, but try the Triangle Transit bus and some park-n-rides next time. $2 each way sure beats airport parking.
Very responsive bathroom motion sensors!
Pack light. Not only are heavy bags a nightmare to carry around, but they are more likely to fall victim to theft, damage or misrouting. For more travel tips and fun, follow @DoubleTree on Twitter!
