The curry Ramen is excellent; they have pork, chicken, and vegetarian broth.
Ta ta men is delicious
The sushi and beer is awesome
Got the miso ramen. Satisfies a craving and worth me coming back for another try but nothing note worthy. The chashu is pretty delicious.
9piece roll lunch specials! Delicious and NYU-themed!
Ramen is above average, but not as good as Totto/etc.
Curry ramen is the standout
Meh. Service wasn't very responsive and the ramen wasn't particularly spectacular for the price.
Their sushi is better than their ramen.
The spicy ramen soup (whatever its called) is my favorite. Their special rolls are definitely ones for the books. Sucks that they don't deliver.
Ask for whichever ramen with roasted pork instead!
Avoid this place if you can. It's conveniently located but not delicious
The pickled vegetables are amazing.
Great ramen and also try the curry rice. Amazing!
I always order the tsukemen; they're very generous with the noodles.
Nin Niku ramen comes with lousy buckwheat noodles. Over salted charchu pork. Over cooked cabbage and hot water. $12 bucks for this?
Ask for green tea. You'll get hot water in a coffee cup with a bank logo. Along with a dried tea bag like cheap Lipton. And that will cost you $1. I gave this place 2 tries. Never again.
Veggie curry rice was awesome!! Try it!
They have a roll for almost every school in NYU, including one for the library. The Poly roll tastes amazing.
Do not go.
They moved from 90 University Place to 1 University Place. 5 blocks down from the old location
Small dishes were the way to go in 2 early visits. Namesake ramen was only fair; bean sprouts and bamboo shoots missing.
Place is swarming! Order any of ramen soups!
Terrible at best
Try the Tan Tan Men - Pretty good.
Try the Tan Tan Men
Try the Tan Tan Men - Pretty damn good.
Delicious every time. Get an extra soft-boiled egg, you need the protein.
The most terrible ramen I have ever had. Please save yourself the trouble and do not come here.
Been going to this spot for about 3 years. Used to love it, decided to try out their new location and I'm very disappointed! Service from the new staff is shitty and not as homey as it used to be.
Curry ramen was amazing!!!
Why no CAS roll?
Shio Ra and Oyako... best combination!
Shio ramen was kind of bland...
Go for the standard Shio Tsukuken. It's more flavorful than the menu description leads you to believe!
Not good. Tried serving raw fried chicken too.
the gyoza melts in your mouth
My fave is tan tan zen.. spicy but not too spicy.
Shio ramen is popular on Hokkaido, a northern Japanese island where lots of expensive salt is mined, and in Tokyo.
Unfortunately, I would not come again. Tasteless broth, extremely dry pork, and the shrimp gyoza was just bad overall. I really wanted to like this place too.
Curry ramen! Don't ask any more questions.
Mediocre ramen :(
inexpensive. friendly fast service. Ramen was fair, possibly a little undercooked. Broth was good. Perfect for a cold day / quick meal.
Curry ramen is way better than the shio chasyumen. I would never recommend chicken over pork but trust me.
shoyu ramen is amazing! the noodles here are great
