People tend to check in during these times:
Parking can be difficult, but great trails.
Great place! Some treks for sporty adults, some for people with children or even trolleys. Everyone will find a path for them.
Wonderful place to hike
I love this place, but peak times are 9-11 AM. It will be almost impossible to find parking. But you can drive a little past the parking lot to find parking in the residential neighborhood.
Great place to get outside for a walk. Parking is tough.
Wonderful running spot!
Great place to run or hike. It can get crowded
Nice trail. There are trees everywhere which much needed relief from the sun. Parking is a big problem, so try and get there early.
Great hiking trails and beautiful views from up high. Parking is a challenge though.
Perfect for a morning run. Gets really busy on the weekend.
Beautiful place for a hike, but lately it's been hard to find a parking spot.
Great for an easy hike or mountain biking to get out into nature.
Excellent place for an easy hike to get out into the nature!
Miles of well-maintained trails for hiking and running with some gorgeous views. Come early, it can get really hot during summer time.
Has 4 parking lots, but still couldn't find parking at 6:30 am on a Saturday. There is a residential community next to it, where you can street park
Running Heaven. Love this place.
Hike the PG&E trail early or late, to avoid banking in the sun. 4000 feet cumulative altitude gain.
On weekends go early, parking sucks
Great place for a not difficult hike, excellent for kids with bikes! We will go back!
So beautiful at sunrise.
Just 45 minutes from San Francisco, this preserve has 23 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails.
Fantastic views at the top of the trails! Worth the hike! Shaded trails and well maintained.
It's a nice hike. Wear comfortable boots or shoes.
protip: after your run, head to the nearby Trader Joe's for some recovery chocolate milk
More animals out when you go early. Spring 2013: new baby goats and calf at deer hollow farm.
Amazing place. Make sure you dont get lost it can be a little consuing at start
Get here before 8am on the weekend . Parking is always difficult here.
Hike in winter to avoid rattlesnakes.
Go on the new Quarry Trail at the peak of PG&E trail to get access to Black Mountain.
Biking paths are limited, most trails don't allow mountain bikes :(
Bought new sneakers? it's not stiff at all.
Lots of gaggles of turkeys and the deer had very close personal space on the trails today
Great hiking/trail running spot.
love the PG&E trail, great workout, great views, only bad thing is the buzzing of the power lines.
The only thing you need to know about Mountain Lions: Hike with someone SLOWER THAN YOU!
Running the PG&E Trail is not for the weak of heart!
Don't step on the rattlesnakes.
Great vista point.
On weekends you need to get here before 6:30 am or u won't get a parking spot!!!
Bring your water
Hike to the top of the PGE trail to get an awesome view of the valley and the bay. Takes about 2-3 hours start to finish. Enjoy the wildlife you'll see on your way.
Fly some planes
One of my most favorite places!!! Great if you're looking for a nice walk with friends or, if you want to challenge yourself, pick a trail and get going! My favorite trail, Upper Wild Cat Trail.
Hiking is good for you. The wildlife is awesome and the air is clean. Be sure to bring large water bottles -- you can refill easily however you want to have some with you....
Weekends get very crowded.
