Home to Electric Zoo and many other music festivals and concerts, you really feel like you've escaped the hustle and bustle of the city when you come here.
Go the first day for EZoo, less crazy crowds and the porter potties are the cleanest they'll be all weekend. duh.

Tired of running in circles through Central Park? Run along the east river and across the bridge at 125th street to Randall's Island for 4.5 miles of pedestrian pathways-- Jess, Fit Chick in the City

A multi-faceted golf center just minutes from midtown. They've got a great two tiered driving range and a putting area plus mini golf and batting cadges.
Saw Cirque du Soleil's Kooza! Amazing, though getting to and from Randall's Island can be a trek.
