    Try to haggle on antique items on side roads. Otherwise, gift shopping is targeted towards tourists, can get pricey.

    Bring plenty of water if you're walking around in summer. Tons of people and mot many hidden gems but fun to walk around. stop at some of the cervezerias for a cold one to compmete experience

    It's open only on Sunday's until 2 p.m. The main street is nice but mostly made in China-India stuff. Real vintage pieces are sold in back streets.

    The flea market of Madrid. It's open on Sundays till 2 or 3 p.m. If you want to but a gift to your friends from Madrid, I think the best option is to visit there.
