I used to recommend cocktails here. Who doesn't love getting slightly tipsy and wandering through modern art? However, they've revamped the cocktail menu to be much shorter, with cheap spirits at $15
This restaurant-bar gets everything right: Mediterranean bites from chef Kris Morningside, great cocktails like the Far (east) Manhattan, and outdoor seating next to LACMA's street light installation.
Cool weather offerings might include his haute version of a chile relleno: a poblano pepper, charred to black, stuffed with zippy housemade venison chorizo, and napped in a suave corn sauce.
Casual place in the courtyard of the LA County Museum of Art. Great spot w/ excellent food. Highly recommend spending an afternoon checking out art and relaxing at the restaurant & bar.
The Mediterranean-inspired menu includes dishes from the restaurant’s wood-burning oven and grill, with an emphasis on farm-to-table, seasonal fare from executive chef Kris Morningstar.
The chili first course is insane and go for the hangar steak. Can't wait for this place in the summer. The patio is incredible wither the views of the hills and LACMA.
Sit at the bar, the pre prohibition cocktails are a specialty of the bartenders here. Also midweek they will let you sample all the scotch you want, if you play nice!
Delicious and savory items to eat: hanger steak, pork belly, chile, asparagus salad. Drinks: dirty harry & rose wish and lavender dreams- yum! Top of the line service!
The Ginger Rogers has zing, the Roses, Wishes & Lavender dreams is more refreshing than sweet, delicious! The BTO's (Better Than Oreos) live up to their name!
Food comes out faster than the drinks... But the drinks are good! Try the morning glory fizz and the owl & the pussycat drink... But the owl & pussycat is SPICY!
The burger is absolutely insane. Their pastas are fresh and prepared traditionally and the lollipop kale is enough to keep you coming back regularly.
Star chef Kris Morningstar whips up farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine at this restaurant, which is adjoined to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Get the Pork Belly, it's deeeelish! Not happy with the service though. It took an hour for our food to arrive - maybe because we didn't look wealthy at all? Haha.
Great cocktails and fresh food. Always new additions on the menu. Service is good too!
Great service around lunchtime. They let us order from the restaurant menu from the bar tables. Ginger Rogers is marvellous.
Good for a small nosh or small plate sharing: bread, olives, cheese. And the bread is really quite excellent.
Food came before the drinks. Seriously poor service. At least the service staff was apologetic. Bar menu not offered in the restaurant at all.
The complementary chips at the bar are homemade. They melt in your mouth.
A cute and chill outdoor bar with such ambiance & free parking. Definitely will be returning.
Faves: Atlantic salmon, beef tartare, chocolate mousse. Skip: bread
Great service. Great cocktails. Get the chips. If you are cold, they hand out blankets.
Sit at the bar. Ask Mr Dozois to make you something spectacular. OH, and DEMAND LOTS OF BIG ICE!
Pasta stuffed with truffle rice and almond is delicious.
The Smokey and the Bandit is one of the smokiest drinks I've ever had and it's amazing.
Fantastic brunch offerings with a beautiful variety of cocktails. Definitely a repeat.
Ask for a Mike's Medicine Cocktail, named after me, I promise it's just what the Doctor ordered :p
Pork belly app is amazing, even more so, the craft cocktails by Cherish are epic!
They are definitely trying, but not enough. Too salty some stuff, too burnt the others. Or maybe it's just me?
Great spot in the museum courtyard, cool off here with a glass of local cider
Rose wishes cocktail is the jam! Don't wait for a table, grab a seat in the bar area :)
The Coffee and Cigarettes smells delicious and has a refreshingly bitter bite.
Pizza good. Olive plate perfect with glass of the Zin.
Love the seasonal menu and large cocktail selection!
Service is terrible--especially if you dont look wealthy enough for their time
The decor is cute and modern. The food is great.
Go here for drinks and appetizers and then check out some of the cool exhibits at LACMA.
The Foursquare Mayor checked in here 6X in the last 6 days. What a life!
Grab a 329 Lager by Golden Road and relax before you enjoy some art.
Select cocktails are $6 for happy hour.
