Pete Wentz loves this place. "If you're not going to dig for it, you're probably not going to find it here. It's something that's missing in art right now."
We love the selection of box sets!
Reckless Records is a diggers’ paradise, where music geeks can flip through thick stacks of booklets to find used and out-of-print discs.
Dan needs to learn how to use a semicolon.
Check out the cheapo CDs and DVDs in the back!
Buy vinyl; for yourself, or for me.
Head for the "Soul" section, find D'Angelo's "Voodoo" album, and read the sticker novel on the cover. After reading, try to resist the urge to buy it.
The best record store I've been to. They have personalized labels that they’ll stick on CDs or LPs that are written up to tell you why it's good without being preachy. Good stuff.
Don't even try to negotiate a price on a record... They won't work with you.
Listen to the new Mountain Goats LP
Get your copy of The Universal Sigh here!
Get the new Rick BLAOW! vinyl
Dig through the new vinyl for unexpected treasures (I found not one, but two Bone Awl LPs). For CDs, the sleeve-only interface is a little haphazard, so better if you know what you're looking for.
My favorite record store so far. Bigger and more stuff than the other Reckless Records in Madison St
It's not nice to stare at the people in the CD aisle.
Be ready to spend some time digging here. There's a lot, and it's only vaguely organized... you'll find something you want, for sure - well, If you can find it!
Russian jazz funk? Next to Swedish hip-hop.
Yikes, avoid it here on a Saturday afternoon. More people than records.
Love this shop. Don't give up on searching when looking through bins. If you keep searching you'll find hidden treasures and such
Magas tells me go to Sparks!
This Chicago record shop has stuck around all these years, giving us a just-grungy-enough vibe, staff music reviews thorough enough to rival Pitchfork, and a solid place to sell our old CDs.
great VHS collection. small but it holds wonders.
Don't use the photobooth unless you plan on being in the store for at least a half hour.
I don't own a record player of any sort, but coming here makes me with I had one. They have a lot of music in vinyl in every flavor you can imagine.
Pretty much just a used records store. Not much distinguishes it from similar places.
Check out the Rare Grooves Section
it smells like sewage in here bigtime
Better selection than my own iPod, and that's pretty good.
Uno de mis lugares favoritos en el mundo, very good :)
Discos, viniles, películas, pósters y presentaciones y firmas de autógrafos. Un must para hacer algo de shopping musical.
