The Red Lion Inn has been welcoming travelers to the Berkshires for more than two centuries - a full service hotel with 108 individually decorated guestrooms, elegant & casual dining, live music nightly, and year-round heated outdoor pool & hot tub.
Everything is great
Best hotel in the area. Check out Naumkeag when you're there.
The Firehouse is a great place for the family even if the official limit is two people.
Great pub. Grab a drink and chill on the porch. 👍🏼
We have not had great luck at any of the restaurants next door. The ice cream place and adjoining food have slow service.
Michaels is our regular place to eat. It had a casual bat area or you can sit down for dinner. Reasonable pricing.
We eat at the Elm Market right around the corner. Nothing fancy but great breakfast. Good place to buy snacks. They will pack food to go.
Hiking trail behind the hotel (about half mile to get to trailhead) - Ice Glen (roughly 3.5 mile to loop it).
My favorite place in the Berkshires!
Adorable charming Inn. Have dinner in the dining hall, Or go less formal in the authentic and wonderful on site tavern. Then go downstairs to visit the lions den for cover bands and fireside beers.
Amazing antique decor and ambiance. Pricey lunch and dinner options, but worth it.
Pay a little extra to get a room with a private bathroom. It is worth it unless you like to share a bathroom with 100s of strangers.
Prime rib with a huge popover was stellar.
Go downstairs to the Lions Den. Food is fabulous and the live entertainment is wonderful!
The hotel is amazing! Every room is different & every floor has it's own character along with interesting quaint common rooms. 4th floor has neat little library. Dinner is incredible! !
Carrot and Apple soup was great Vegen food
Turkey sandwich. Enough said.
Excellent ambiance but very crowded.
We went for atmosphere, not food. LOVED the atmosphere--wide creaky old floorboards; ACTUALLY quaint, not "quaint"--AND BONUS, were surprised by how good the food was. Start with a drink on the porch!
Look for Simon, lobby ambassador, on the side porch. Such a friendly feline. :)
Norman Rockwell made tons of drawings of this place.
Katie the waitress is very informative and makes you feel right at home. The inn cat Simon is a sweetie but don't approach him, let Simon come to you
Sitting on the porch is my weekly power vacation.
Eat at the Elm Street Market around the corner. It's a small market with lunch counter. Not fancy. For a a step up eat across the street at Michaels.
lovely flowers and, wonderful employees
Jazz band downstairs in Lions Den
Love this place !!
Subpar service & average food. Not worth the wait
What a beautiful place to stay.
The duck is amazing. I also love the traditional turkey with stuffing entree. Amazing experience all around.
If they tell you the wait will be 20 minutes, expect it to be more like 40.
Amazing French toast!
Free wi-fi. Sweet.
Check out main St cafe down the street
Say hi to Simon the cat. He lives at the Inn
Great breakfast down the road at Main Street Cafe
