People tend to check in during these times:
If it's your first concert make sure you sit in GA, you get the whole experience then of the skyline, clouds & venue!!! The sound is so amazing you don't have to sit close to truly enjoy a show.
The sound is amazing and you can see good where ever you sit. I love being in the front and enjoy when the shows are GA in the front rows. If you love concerts you have to experience this venue.
Great place for venues. We come from Iowa every year for the Easter sunrise services. I have never been to an actual concert there but can imagine what that experience would be like. It is a must do.
Best parking? Get there a little early to tailgate. Go in the Northern entrance off Morrison Road, then, when you get to the split, go left and park at the bottom of the hill near the stairs of death.
A large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,450 people.
Sure it's great for concerts but you can get a great workout up here! Whether it's Fitness on the Rocks or any of the meetup.com weekend fitness groups, all of them will get you sweating.
One of the best concert venues in the world. Check out a show here, or just stop by during the day to see it. It's almost always open and there are people here everyday working out!
If you are a visitor to the Denver area, stop by Red Rocks. Some of the best concerts ever have been performed in this natural rock formed ampitheater. For a health trip - try running the stairs!
Oh sure it's a great venue but what really is the best here are the trails you can run or hike around here. Gorgeous views and worth a trip out to.
What a view! Loved all of the new stuff they've added underground. A must see venue as there's nothing like it. Be sure to run up and down the stairs (or have your kids do it)!
Incredible venue. Loved sitting on the right side of the venue towards the front so I could see both the stage and the screen easily. I would however recommend parking in the south lot.
This legendary, acoustically perfect summer concert venue is surrounded by towering red sandstone monoliths and Denver views. Trails take bikers and hikers through past striking rock formations.
It’s a natural acoustically perfect phenomenon. No wonder Red Rocks Amphitheatre attracts the best acts from The Beatles to U2. But the area’s biggest superstars are the surrounding trails. Enjoy.
Be prepared! If your not in shape to handle the walk up...you will be on the run back down. Absolutely gorgeous views and a landmark you have to visit while in Morrison, CO.
The most beautiful amphitheater I have ever been to. And it's carved into the natural stone. Walking all of the stairs is suppose to burn 40 calories.
Awesome concert venue! View is awesome from the cheap seats but on windy days the sound will get lost. And the cops in nearby Morrison love to hand out tickets so go slow there!
Amazing acoustics. Won't nickle and dime you like with parking fees and expensive drinks. People all over the country and world come to see once in a blue moon performances.
Really is amazing! The front rows are cool, but take some time to go to the top, you still get an awesome sound from the band, but you also get to see all of Denver!!
Can't find a musical show you want to see? Try Film on the Rocks. Red Rocks chooses to play mostly cult-status movies on select dates throughout the summer.
Awesome place to visit and enjoy the scenery of the now landmark red rocks! Also a great place to watch a concert with the natural acoustics!
This place is the best ever for concerts! If you didn't know it yet, Josh Groban is coming here this summer. Tickets! Must go buy tickets before they are all sold out!
One of the most beautiful places in the world. After a day of shopping our Colorado Mills store, we love Red Rocks Amphitheatre for hiking and concerts.
I was first in line at the South Parking Lot for Vampire Weekend. Even though you are in the parking lot, the staff will walk you up to the gates 15 minutes before the doors open. Avoids running up t
Best concert venue ever... Wide rows, great visibility from any level, fun crowd, beautiful setting!
If there is a concert that night, the amphitheater closes at noon so get there before then! You may get to hear rehearsals which is awesome!
Such a cool, unique venue for concerts. Also a great place to work out if you like running up stairs. So scenic and pretty.
Thousands of people dancing like they don't give a f*ck who's looking. You gotta respect it. Complete escape and sensory overload.
It's always colder than you think here, even in the Summer. Bring a hoodie/jacket for those late night shows when the sun goes down. Beer is way expensive. Tailgate before :)
Red Rocks is absolutely the most beautiful venue in the world. RR is run by the City and County of Denver, CO by some of the nicest people! For concert & event info: http://www.redrocksonline.com
Nice place to go to see but they should put an elevator in for people who are afraid of heights & not have to walk all those stairs.
Catch three 2013 America's Best DJ nominees here on 7/19/13! Vote in person to enter to win a trip for 2 to VEGAS. Like/follow ABDJ on Facebook/Twitter to enter to WIN prizes from Pioneer DJ!
Amazing concert venue. You gotta walk a ton of stairs but it's worth the trek.
The greatest music venue I've ever seen. The downside, you will literally take a hike to get to and from your car, bring water...oxygen too.
General admission is first come, first serve. There are no bad seats in this venue. Come early and tailgate. Beautiful!
This place needs to be on your bucket list. Red Rocks is one of the most amazing concert experiences you can imagine!
Come here when there isn't a concert to wander the museum and hike around the rocks. The views are breathtaking.
I hope you are here to hear the jams of the @theavettbros - but either way Red Rocks has the best, most amazing views!
Bring Chipotle or Subway to dine at your seats. Drinks must be sealed and in plastic containers. Invest in a travel stadium seat; your back will thank you!
A look back at "The Amazing Race": The Red Rock Ampitheatre served as both the starting & finish line of season 9 and was the only season where the same location was used to start and end the Race.
Absolutely one of the best places to enjoy a sunrise. So grab a blanket, your loved one, and some coffee and make the trek out to the rocks.
Bring tailgating supplies for before AND after the concert. Lots empty VERY slowly. Might as well enjoy the view outside the park a little longer instead of sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.
The concessions stand down at the very bottom of the stage to the south takes cards and has the best pizza in the park.
Worth the short trip to look around. Just don't go out of your way to see it.
Great place to see a show, and on days when there are no shows, great exercise walking up and down it.
