The MIA Rental Car Center, a 3.4-million-square-foot, four-level facility that houses 16 major rental car companies, was completed by the FDOT in July 2010 and serves an average of 16,000 airport customers daily.
Budget always has great prices and nice happy vendors
Hard@to get a bargain.
Awesome! Well organized, cllean, friendly environment.
Take the Le Jeune exit off 836, stay in the far right lane and follow the truly excellent signage. Hassle free. :)
Alamo is always full. Head to Enterprise or the smaller companies; much more faster.
Prepare for a LONG walk even 10+ moving walkways!
Rent with Alamo, national, thrifty or dollar to get access to a free shuttle to and from the port of Miami!
Has great rates
Alamo car rental return was so easy and took less than 5 minutes
The worst designed rental center I have ever seen in all my years of traveling
If renting Miami make sure to check if it is on site or off. Off site car rentals like Fox aren't on signage yet! The shuttles to off site companies is outside the car rental center
Alamo has the best service and great car selection!
Lots of construction on airport perimeter - give yourself extra time.
Get ready for a hike to the tram
Never seen worst car rental place
Hertz always Fast and efficient
Fast and easy mover, no more bus taking forever to move. Niceeee!!
Queue at Alamo sucks balls. Have to wait for over an hour now for a car! other car rentals are less crowded.
This sucks! Fly into Ft Lauderdale. Better organized airport.
Shuttles are gone for good. Take the Moover.
no more bus service tale the2 mile walk to the tram
Music too loud in shuttles. Bring earplugs or headsets.
Too convoluted. No assistance for passengers who are disabled. They finally at least got smart carts for luggage
Worst rental car return location!
If there is a Chevy Impala from Avis, reg 6MGS750 - his name is Brad the Impala and came with us on a heroic roadtrip. Epicroadtrip.co.uk. A true rental legend.
Avoid it if podsible
There's a guy at Hertz that will rip you off, his name is Andrés- beware
If Trisha is the manager @ this Enterprise location rent somewhere else - she has NO customer service skills.
Horribly confusing! Poor signage placement and no where to drop ppl off.
New location looks great and you don't have to drive around looking for the rental places. Can't wait for them to have the Metrorail stopping at the location
At last decent road signs to the new rental center, however shuttle to terminal is shared with all car rental companies and is not as good as previous Hertz service and is slower.
Don't use Alamo if you want good customer service
