Came here on Labor Day weekend for their all you can eat crab bake, it was pretty good
My favorite burger in NYC--even compared to Minetta Tavern, Shake Shack, etc. Get it w a side of sriracha mayo. Sit at the bar and let the knowledgable staff introduce you to your new favorite beer.
Nothing special for the money. Too loud.
Get the beef cheek
Service is great and the food is exceptional. Great date spot choice for Murray Hill.
Double burger is unreal. Rivals the best in the area (Schnipper's, etc.)
The deviled eggs are consistently excellent. However, been disappointed by food overall. Off-menu burger only served medium well. Not good.
The egg white omelette is maybe one of the best I've had!
Upscale eats paired with Belgian beer. Recently had the chicken, with chicken meatballs and a side of roasted brussel sprouts. Delicious!
The lamb chops are really good, which is an inverse relation to the level of service. Also get the deviled eggs but don't bother with the tartar.
The rotating menu here is always delicious. Plus, there is never a wait! Heads up, Penelope crowd.
One of my favorite places in NY for maybe reasons. Live the beer selection, meats always cooked perfectly, correctly once named the best burger in the city.
the term "carboload" was invented for resto's belgian hangover pasta. and it's worth it. #supernomz
Delicious pork belly and roasted corn salad. However, pricey and small portions
Very nice food and very kind service. Although small portions and very expensive for what you get.
Great food and location. The service is very courteous! Taste one of the desserts! But don't sit close to the door, it's really drafty when the door opens and closes.
lunch service can be spotty but the hangover pasta and anything meat related is great. beer selection is insane - get the rodenbach grand cru by the glass just because you can.
A good portion of Belgium waffle with two ice cream scoops! FRITTATA is VERY GOOD. Home cooking taste.
Popped in for breakfast, came out in love. Great coffee and delicious Belgian waffles with vanilla ice cream, mascarpone and grilled peaches. The staff were attentive, & the ladies' room was pretty!
The deviled eggs on pork toast and the Belgian hangover pasta make for a great lunch.
Any of the veggie sides or specials. Fries, and splurge on all the dipping mayos.
Grab at least 6 friends and set up a large format feast! Boar, veal, goat. You name it they can get it.
Hangover pasta is delicious
Everything is HUGE. Order light!
Order the burger! It's not always listed on the menu, but it's available, and it's amazingly good. Once claimed by New York Magazine as "New York's BEST burger" &ordering off menu makes you extra cool
For Belgian food, Resto is spot on. Cheeseburgers, deviled eggs, and Belgian fries are irresistible at the haven for comfort food.
It's brunch. It's Sunday. It's bacon and a scratch-made bloody mary. It's fresh yogurt, crunchy granola and toast swimming in egg yolk.
The chicken entree is worth it for just the chicken sausage. Amazing. Pay with Cover to complete the experience.
No other place quite like it in the city. Delicious menu choices for both dinner and brunch. I'd give resto my vote for favorite burger in NYC! The cannibal, next door is great, too!
People weren't kidding -- worst service in town.
Excellent brunch! if you want sweet go for the waffles, savory the eggs benedict. Deviled eggs for the table to start and you can't go wrong.
Eggs Benedict is on point.
One of the best burgers in NYC, just put it in your mouth. You won't regret it
Belgian hangover pasta. Works
The sausage and bacon in the Fat Cat are so juicy and delicious. 10/10.
Tries hard to emulate the downtown trendy vibe but fails; miserably. Simply poor service, while the food can be described as mildly above average seamless. One love Yoko.
Great food but, man, I don't remember it ever being this slow! Crazy slow service!
Skip Penelope, this place is 1 block away and never crowded. Eggs benedict, scotch egg and hangover pasta are good choices.
Kinda like having dinner with Mumford & Sons
They have a secret menu item you can order: an aged beef and pork burger ($14)
Hangover pasta is great but food takes FOREVER. Don't go if you have less than 2 hours to eat.
Very interesting spot, You pick your tasting menu for the table and share like 10 dishes. Again, long dinner great cocktails unassuming simple interior. Intimate, great for dates. $$$$
I had their Bronx brewery radiator pasta, basically lamb neck pasta and it was delicious ... I have never thought they can make pasta that way, very American... Though the wait is a little bit long
I'd wanted to go here for a while, and am now squarely a fan of this place! A very good beer menu, for one thing. Loved the deviled eggs, the frites, the crispy chicken. Go!
The staff is knowledgable and suggest amazing dinner. Make sure to order the kale salad, calamari app (for realz), lamb and ribeye entrees, bread pudding and salted caramel dessert. All to die for...
I always forget how much I love Resto.. It's a close tie with The Cannibal for fave spot in the area.
