    The service is brisk as it has to be in such a popular place. The Dim Sum portions were generous and flavorful.Prawn Dumpling is queen.Char siu Bao & Big Bao are the knights.Can't live without them.

    Dim sum still ok but those waitress always show black face seem like you're own them one million ringgit, environment quite comfortable but the prawn chee cheong fan vry thick as you can see below.

    I can never find dim sum as good as Foh San in Singapore, NEVER! Whenever I'm in Ipoh, Foh San must visit every Sunday morning. Agree with Stewart T, the Char Siew Pau and Siew Mai is my favorite!

    Dim sum was average. Prawn Dumplings and Eggs Tart is a must try. Fried carrot cake is not bad. The Char Siew Bau was not my taste. Taste weird. Is totally different.

    Especially like the "steam egg" & lo mai kai. Tried the mango pudding the mayor recommended, abit sweet for me, but overall nice!! Ya, don't forget the thousand layer cake. Absolute delicious!!

    Everything is self service except for drinks. Some station only has certain item, it's best to go downstairs station to get everything, it's mostly stocked there. Prepare to walk and carry alot.

    I've just spent 3 nights in Ipoh staying in Hotel Excelsior which was great. We met a friend for dim sum lunch and we came here (Foh San). It was excellent - great food, great value, great service!

    I don't get the buzz about this place.. The food is not nice, service is worse! I ordered few plates, didn't finish it, paid and go to Ming Court (another dim sum restaurant opposite) SO MUCH BETTER!

    The dim sum quality consistency have dropped drastically. It's not the same compared from the past few years. The only similarity having dim sum in here vs in HK is only the rude staffs.

    Some slight improvement since the last i came. The size of the dim sum seems to be a tad larger given they charge exorbitant prices. Taste is good especially the loh mai gai.

    Its more on the concept side .. selling environment rather than product. Customer come and go, but doubt there will be any regulars like the old outlet. Moving towards franchise business ?

    1. Personally, I do not like self service.. This place like canteen. Queuing for food? 2. No fair on finding place to sit.. So crowded and feel "no peace" when eating. 3. food soso only compare hotel

    For such big portion, i think the price is reasonable. 3 big succulent prawns in the prawn dumpling. I cant find this in KL (except in Hotel).

    Go on a weekday. Tables aplenty. Trolley ladened with a variety of fare. Also large selection of cook-to-order dishes. Large efficient but aged staff.

    Variety choices of dim sum that is uniquely available here. Environment and food is great, got the feel of breakfast in Hong Kong.

    Pure hype. Dim sum are average. Very warm and uncomfortable eating at this place. You even had to go get your dim sum buffet style. Will not return.
