One of Ipoh and Malaysia's most famous Dim Sum. All the Dim Sum served here are fresh and delicious to eat. A lovely place to dine in but you must go early in the morning to avoid the heavy crowd.

Go on a weekday. Tables aplenty. Trolley ladened with a variety of fare. Also large selection of cook-to-order dishes. Large efficient but aged staff.

Yeah Alex is right. I tasted it and think the dim sum here is better than the one Eve opened.Note: Eve is the boss' 2nd wife of TaTung Restaurant.
I think the self service is only on busy days, eg public holidays / weekends, otherwise my grandfather and I normally have trolley with matured women and some young foreigner men serving us. Try going
Place is clean and spacious. Food is good like the old place.

Nice fried raddish + roast babi bun. i love them....
I can never find dim sum as good as Foh San in Singapore, NEVER! Whenever I'm in Ipoh, Foh San must visit every Sunday morning. Agree with Stewart T, the Char Siew Pau and Siew Mai is my favorite!
So the other day I went to try out Yoke Fook Moon as Michael T recommended. I was shocked to find out that he is the son of Yoke Fook Moon. What a shame.
Try the pudding here.. Not those in a box but serve with a bowl. Got mango n longan.
For such big portion, i think the price is reasonable. 3 big succulent prawns in the prawn dumpling. I cant find this in KL (except in Hotel).
Trolley service and waiter service available on weekdays. Waiter service available everyday. Fun and nice place to eat, especially the roast pork noodle. yummi mummi...
Good food and nice ambient. Self service is a good idea. Many places in HK / China also doing this.
I rate it high. Keep up the good work.
this is my favorite place.
Alex, I agree with you so as my Grandfather and my Father in law.
