Beautiful venue, very special.
Steak tartar and salmon tartar are both amazing!!!
Love Rockpool for its wonderful service & modern twist on your fav foods. The Charcoal Roast Prawns, Wood Fire Grilled Eggplant, Sautéed Jerusalem Artichokes & Carrots and Sebago Potatoes were divine
Best martini in Sydney. Yes, one more please.
Named best restaurant in Australia 2015 by Gourmet Magazine. http://goo.gl/dz6TCz
Wagyu burger. Full stop.
Everything is what you would expect...sit at the bar...enjoy great service and the best food and drink selection imaginable...my favourite spot in town
Had a steak here for lunch with some friends from work. My steak lacked taste and moisture. The mac and cheese was different but excellent. I even enjoyed the green bean salad.
Great aged steaks and wonderful Rosemary potatoes
Burger and a negroni. What more could you ask for!
Great ambience and great food, Neil Perry's outlet lives up to its reputation as one of the leading restaurants in Sydney. Alaskan Crab Avocado Salad, Lobster Thermidor, and Wagyu Steaks are good!
Lovely ambience in this grand old building. Have an aperitivo at the bar before hand
One of the very best Restaurants in Australia !
Good but not great - service 4, food 3. Drink menu and wine list excellent, expected so much more from Ribeye, avocado crab to salty, paparelle - citrusy. Expected much much more
Definitely do the steak here. Grass fed dry-aged ribeye or t-bone both good. Sit at the bar if main hall is full. Less stuffy!
Wine & steak & ambience. Can be a little pricey but worth it
Service, cauliflower gratin, food
Sit at the bar, it's more relaxed and has the same great food.
That Wagyu burger
Wagyu burger with bacon, Gruyère cheese & Zuni pickle
Grass fed fillet was good. But I must say the presentation is definitely too simple and lacking in creativity.
the strawberry parfait is a good choice for dessert
Good food and great building. Unfortunately, they are too focused on turning over tables and therefore making you feel rushed through dinner and/or not able to enjoy the full dining experience.
Just brilliant wagyu brisket! Just do it!! Also the fat chips :) the BBQ sauce is great as well!
My perfect RBG meal. Chipotle margarita to start, kingfish carpaccio, grass fed eye fillet with horseradish cream and BBQ sauce, side of creamed corn with manchego and a glass of Pinot. Perfect!
Smallest martini we've seen in awhile. Appetizers small too. The wagyu burger is good, but I wouldn't rave about it. Same with the fries. Great atmosphere and decor, though.
Steaks are served precut; server says so people can share and so chefs know if it's cooked properly. Rockpool, if your chefs don't know a steak is done without cutting into it, you need better chefs.
Truely the best burgers in town. Definately worth the price. Can't go wrong with the wagyu!
go for grass-fed rib-eye and cos salad as a side. reserve very well in advance. beautiful food, service is questionable though
Grass fed rib eye is pretty good. Not bad value at $60.
One of the nicest restaurants I've been to in a long time... Was a great location for our honeymoon dinner!
Best burger in Sydney.
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I suggest coming hungry with a bunch of friends and sharing as many of the dishes as you can. Service is excellent too.
Amazing. Best grain fed steak I've ever tried, plus the chips in wagyu fat and truffle oil ! Wow
I'd be happy to wait 30 minutes for a table - if there was somewhere to wait! Bar is full of people eating & you have to stand awkwardly behind them. Feels like you're drinking in a dining room. Left.
Definitely worth going to the bar, not the restaurant. You can order restaurant food at the bar. And there are 2000+ wine glasses hanging in the bar, which makes an impressive display.
Chorizo hot dog with jalapeno sauce is very nice.
Neil Perry's tasty Wagyu burger (on the pricey side) in a super cool relaxed bar
Sit at the bar, indulge in the burger and an old fashioned, and admire the famed chandelier while Sinatra croons in the background.
Best steak of my life!
The Spanner Crab, Roast Cherry Tomato, Spicy Prawn Oil with Semolina Noodles is so flavorsome! And for cocktails you gotta try Johnston's Revenge--they don't call it a world class cocktail for nothing
Chorizo dog was good, as were the chips, but the onion rings were tasteless, overlooked and swimming in oil, avoid
A delightful nightcap. We came for drinks and dessert after dinner at Bacco. 10 out of 10 for service and abience.
The David Blackmore wagyu burger is tops!
If you go to Rockpool to have a burger you're a fucking idiot.
Soul Reviver Juice is one of the most extraordinary things I've ever had.
David Blackmore's wagyu!
