People tend to check in during these times:
If it's your first time at the Rogers Centre, get tickets in the 100 level (the upper deck is among the highest in MLB) on the third base side. You'll have a great view of the game and the CN Tower.
Great concert venue and baseball stadium in Toronto. Right next to CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium. Easy access to Union Station. Originally called the Skydome because of the retractable roof.
Have the brisket sandwich or brisket nachos at the Carvery. It's right behind home plate on the 100 level. By far the best food ever served in my 20 years coming to the Skydome.
Went to the beyonce and jay z concert here. Amazing concert but awful security. The place was a mess, the staff couldn't control people jumping to get better seats. ACC is much better for concerts.
The roof, the roof, the roof is…retractable. The Skydome…er, Rogers Centre opened in 1989 with the world’s first-ever fully retractable roof. It takes twenty minutes to open & close the thing.
Who doesn't love a good game of baseball?! After all, it's the only place in town you can see the Jays. Everything is high-priced as you'd expect but it's still a great experience.
Really enjoyed the tour. Takes you on the turf of the centre, in the press box, etc. They happened to be testing the opening/closing of the roof on the day I went - super neat.
People. If you're coming to the game and have yet to buy tickets, GET HERE EARLY! Otherwise you'll wait in line and the game will be half over before you get inside. Better yet, buy online!!!
Clue: This 2 level bar and grill is the ideal sport for a burger and pint before or after a big game. Rumour has it, it was named after a character from Rocky and Bullwinkle.
calling all fans, actors and paparazzi of the iffa. stay hydrated this saturday with some vitaminwater. be sure to look for our sampling teams. you can also find them on twitter! @vitaminwater_on
Good venue to watch a CFL or MLB game if the roof is open, totally different atmosphere when the roof is closed. $10 for a regular beer or alcoholic drink is ridiculous!
Only place to get a veggie burger is at section 109, and they still screwed up my order and gave me a meat burger. So mad (and hungry) and everything cold by the time I got back to my seat anyway.
Rogers Centre is a Toronto landmark and made Jugnoo's NXnecessities must see list! Interested in other must-see locations? Check out http://www.nxnecessities.com for the rest of the list.
Clean stadium. For better/more substantial food than hot dogs and typical stadium fare walk till you see the cafeteria looking food places - good hot sandwiches.
Welcome to Rogers Centre (aka SkyDome)! The turf may need to be upgraded, but that jumbo tron, Wow! Also, first North American major sporting venue with a retractable roof.
Whether you've stopped by for a game (GO JAYS GO!), or you're here to celebrate another ARGOS win, don't forget to bring a long-zoom camera to get even closer to the action!
On hot days when the line for the water fountain is uber long. Just use the washroom tap. It's clean and drinkable! (If you don't like that idea, enjoy the line lol)
You've gotta try the Sweet Potato Fries. It is a very healthy size for only $6.25 at Jays games. Crispy, sweet, and spicy from the chipotle mayo.
Visit the north wall, where a steel & glass sculpture made with musket balls & pottery found during excavation is adorned with 2000+ signatures, from people involved in the Centre’s construction.
You could probably get decent seats at pretty low prices, if you buy a scalped ticket after the 1st inning. But it's not like the Jays game is too pricey to begin with though.
If you're with young kids on a Saturday, go early before the game. Team reps look for young kids who will get to go on the field and walk out with their favorite player! Arrive around 12:15. Ask too!
Fans, if you'd like to come to the game & it STARTS at 1pm try coming EARLY to buy your tickets. Like at noon or 12:30!! Neat concept, huh??
Ah, The SkyDome. Beer selection was "mEH", but this is definitely a 1980s Era Space Aged Ballpark based on design. Still cool and unique.
October 23rd, 1993. Blue Jays down 6-5 to the Phillies, bottom of the 9th. Mitch Williams on the mound, Joe Carter at the plate… AH! TOUCH 'EM ALL JOE, YOU'LL NEVER HIT A BIGGER HOME RUN IN YOUR LIFE!
Great place, I grew up at this place, I remember when it was called the sky dome, not much has changed, still a nice place for game events
Get a hot dog outside the stadium, all food has very inflated prices, and isnt the greatest, out of every MLB stadium, by far the worst food
Jays are trying their best but it's showing their age. Don't get a hotdog - get an Italian sausage. Better value and quality.
John Tavares, Matt Moulson and Ryan Strome are among many #Isles over the years to frequent the Jays games. #JT91 even threw out the first pitch here after being drafted 1st overall in 2009.
My wife and I attended the Game last night and had a Blast, even though the Team came out on the Losing side it was an Amazing Time. We will be back again. GSM John
Now serving Steam Whistle at games ($11/tall can). Food wise, the chicken and waffle poutine was pretty gross. Hopefully the maturity of Jays fans improves this season. New concourse area is nice.
Go once early in the season before the roof open, so you can appreciate the glory of the open roof.
Did you know? Eight 747 planes or 743 Indian Elephants or 516 African Elephants can comfortably fit on the Rogers Centre field when set in baseball mode.
This stadium with retractable roof led the way for future stadiums, setting itself as the standard of stadium innovation!
we can't predict if the jays will beat the yankees tomorrow but at least we know for certain that there will be hydration! grab a vitaminwater between gates 6A & 6 tomorrow!
Did you know? The roof rises to a height of 86 meters (282 feet), high enough for a 31 storey building at centre field with the roof closed.
Great stadium. Even from our seats in the nosebleeds we had an amazing view of the game
the chicken hot dog was as big as my arm and fantastically delicious. roger waters was amazingly awesome.

Go to Section 135 and grab the bucket of wings. Best in the city IMHO. Also try the Prime Rib Sliders at Sec. 110 area.
Good views from anywhere and affordable even from StubHub. Best thing of all is the free WIFI
Originally known as SkyDome, Rogers Centre opened in 1989. 70 hotel rooms overlook the field.
Jennifer Raglan and her husband have a long-standing tradition of creating scorecards for every baseball game at the Rogers Centre in Robert Rotenberg's THE GUILTY PLEA
Poor job of shovelling the stairs of snow during Disney on Ice. Spoke to CSR and they acted as they didnt care!!!
