    This place tries too hard and is way over priced for what it offered. For three people one alcoholic drink, two soft drinks, 3 appetizers, two regular mains (no Kobe or wayu beef ) 1 dessert. Paid 180

    My top 3: Prime rib kimchi dumplings, crispy Brussel sprouts, and cremini mushrooms. Flowers, "Perennial" 2011 Pinot blend is excellent! Also loving the Aladdin sake!

    Ok, of the three: prime rib kimchi dumpling 1, black cod 2, butterfish 3. All great but I want more of #1. Gotta have the shochu! If in chicago go to roka akor on north clark! Best sushi in Chicago!

    Have the omakase chef's tasting menu, it takes 3 hours to eat at 22 items. Have the chef deep fry the fish skeleton that garnishes your sashimi garden, it's an experience you must have!!!

    ORDER THE OMAKASE!! A many-course "experience". Many places do Omakase as "artsy minimalist", but Roka does a very filling & creative meal. Take a chance and live a little! Trust me, it's worth it!
