Friday nights: Go to a Diana Gameros live concert here (similar to Feist), good food, veg friendly, affordable. It's a pretty awesome reminder why SF is magic.

So happy to have stumbled upon this gem on Friday evening. No wait, cozy casual atmosphere with great food, especially for the price. Loved the live music, too!
The watermelon agua fresca and flan are fantastic. I love this place!!
Cute atmosphere. Guac was good. Horchata iced coffee was good. Carnitas were gamey/porky.
Tamale plate for $9 is HUGE. get the $12 platter w 2 tamales and split with a 2nd person. Also, yam+chèvre = excellent.
Get the Tostada Colorado with the fried egg and carnitas. So good.
They just changed owners (late 2012) and are now "The Roosevelt"-- the menu is way slimmed down and the decor de-cozified. Historic photos are gone.
