Rosa’s Spitalfields has an intimate, laid-back atmosphere, and is where we began serving our signature dishes to a London crowd hungry for fresh Thai food with a modern twist.
Not wildly authentic, but it is tastier, friendlier and more value than money than Busaba Eathai.
Lameass mayor prize.
Lovely place. Very kind personnel.
Nothing life-changing, but tasty Thai staples at a reasonable price. Friendly and fast service too, so ideal for a quick bite before heading to one of the many venues in the area.
very busy but extremely good - the aubergines are lush
If you're in a hurry, check out Rosa's - really fast & cheap, too
The calamari was amazing. Worth coming for that alone!
Pad thai was great! Need to come back for the pomelo salad and mango sticky rice.
Thai Calamari and fresh spring rolls were delicious! Short review on our facebook...
Try the pad Thai and the chicken Cassius. The fresh vegetable rolls were not that amazing. And for sure don't miss the Thai iced tea! Overall it was a really nice experience!
Tissues on the table are there for you to snort because of hot Thai food. Don't waste them on your dirty hands.
Good value modern thai food.
The fresh spring rolls were delightful! Fresh and light, ready for my main course
Several vegetarian options pad kra prow and Thai curries with tofu
If you want Tom Yum, make sure to tell them you want it without milk. Don't know why they add milk... odd. Great food otherwise!
The pad thai soup is amazing! It's spicy though so be careful (:
Everything!!! Best Thai food in London
Venison noodles dish is awesome!
The original Rosa's is excellent Thai food in trendy Spitalfields. Excellently afforable as well. Have the Thai Whiskey shot!
Pretty average Thai food to be honest. Wouldn't mission out specially to it.
Best pad thai of my life, thank you, mic drop.
Nice and cost place. Try the squid and pad thai!
Some of the best Thai food in London, let alone the neighbourhood. The Tom Yam soup is delicious!
Wow, that was disappointing. Very bland, boring green curry. OK stir fry but completely overpriced.
Massaman is amazing
The best pad Thai ever!
Thailand (Around the World in London)
Portions are getting smaller and smaller. I don't think I'm gonna come back
Amazing food, totally exceeded our (already quite high) expectations. Mains: aubergine and beef massaman curry, yum yum. Definitely coming back.
Great food. London price though (6.25 for four spring rolls). They have a discretionary service charge althought the menu fails to mention it.
Don't order the Jungle Curry -- it's awful.
One of my favourites. The duck and steak dishes are my favourite. Sliced meat cooked to perfection, delicious sauce, best with some coconut rice. Do it!
Try the red Thai curry with fried rice. Delicious!
TimeOut best cheap eats
cosy atmosphere, lovely service, and quality food with an interesting twist.
Underwhelming. £22/person for average food & not very authentic (tho they admit that). better: Addie's Thai (amazing food), Chompoo (£10/person for better quality), and dare I say Busaba the chain
Food takes at least an hour.
Great place for lunch if you work nearby. Fast service and excellent value for good food.
Updating my previous comment, mayor price was working for the last two occasions! ;)
Fresh spring rolls are the way to go for a starter.
Pumpkin curry is a requirement!
Waitress did not know about the special, so no tea for the mayor. Shame shame shame.
The prawn pad krow pra is great but is hot!! A coconut juice goes down well with it though. Also tried the prawn pad thai which is very good.
@najube I agree the Tom yum without milk is better, but Thailand has two types Tom Yum sai (clear) and the Other khon which has add milk to give it that cloudy look. Give it a try So ask next time :)
Take away was suuuuper fast, and the fried spring rolls come with an awesome sauce! Craving it 3 days after having it for the first time!
